then bring on Ole or Veron on late on, then he must bring on Diego so we can get a rendition pf "he came from uraguay" infront of everton...then stick larry blanc on for the final 10 minutes, and let him salute the fans.

perfect, we'll probably get battered 5-0 but what the hey</strong><hr></blockquote>

Nice One

6-1 for United

Forlan
Ruud 4 (to brake Law's record)
Scholes

I don't think we'll "party". Ruud wants to brake that record.

also, fergie will want to prove <img src="graemlins/wenger.gif" border="0" alt="[Wenger]" /> a real cnut again.(since he said that if they beat leeds, we'd lose on the last day)

I'm divided in thought. I would love us to beat, no, DESTROY Everton but if we lose, I would love to see Wengers face, knowing if he had beaten Leeds he may have won the title. Now, that would be rubbing it in.

nah he's talking bollocks. If his team don't have the bottle to hold on to a lead it means that they're shite not that we had it easy.

whoever in the team on that day..i'm sure we will defineitely beat them!!!

really hope Ruud will break the record man..he really deserved it!!!

C'mon United!!!

It's not easy knowing who'll play. I believe we'll use not our best team but a very good team. Sir Alex and the players will want to win, Ruud will want to be top scorer. Carroll will obviously be the goalkeeper, no doubt. Also, Larry will play I believe, he might even captain the side. Fletcher is one who might be tested and Diego might get a game.

Carroll
Phizza Rio Larry Sheasey
Fletcher Fortune Scholes Giggs
Diego Ruud

Maybe...

Mads is still injured from the first leg of the youth cup final I think - but I'd certainly expect to see Fletcher play, and Alex does usually play kids in the inconsequential last games so we might see some others like Lynch or Richardson, maybe even a surprise or two from the Youth Cup side like Jones.

I'd like to see us play our strongest side. We owe it to Blackburn who took 6 points off Arsenal this year.

Also, Ruud is going for the Golden Boot, trying to tie his own record of scoring in 8 consecutive league matches and going for Dennis Law's record. I'd like to see him get the best support possible...

Finally, I'd like to shut Wenger up once and for all about how they would have won the league if they had beaten Leeds. A convincing victory against Everton would do very nicely.

Agreed. We've got the momentum atm, and should maintain it - finishing the season on a high note will carry over to the start of next season psychologically.

And it would be unethical to play a weaker side when other teams than Everton are fighting for a UEFA place.

Fair point re Blackburn after all they did the double over the tossers but how does winning in mid-May make a difference for a season starting in mid-August? Do you really think the lads will give a toss if they lose this one?

"This victory would have brought the goal difference even closer and I'm convinced we would have won the title. I'm absolutely convinced of that and I think that's why some of the players were so upset because it made it even more disappointing for them."

Wenger.

Alright, enough of this end of season game stuff. I want to win and ram this into Wenger's throat.

He's amazing, he really is <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

Can't wait when Arsenal go the way of Leeds, I would love hear his excuses when it happens.

If we'd beaten Real, Juve (again), and a Milan club, I am convinced we would be champions of Europe... <img src="graemlins/houllier.gif" border="0" alt="[Houllier]" />

Nah, better we lose. Will make him more bitter.
;)

Doesn't Wenger remind you of someone? Glenn Hoddle after 1998. If Beckham hadn't been sent off we would have beaten Argentina, Holland, Brazil and France and won the world cup.

No wonder Glenda see's ARSEne as his mentor <img src="graemlins/houllier.gif" border="0" alt="[Houllier]" />

Keane desparate for a goal too. Hasn't scored all season. Hope we thrash them.

yeah..keano <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" /> <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" /> <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />

The 1st team should play, no need 4 resting anybody, no CL n midweek :( , Besides they will have a rest till July.

I hope that we thrash them, and Blackburn win at Spurs - see how their end of season party is when they've not qualified for Europe!

I'd love to see Ruud breaking Law's record, and doesn't that mean that if he scores in the first game of next season he'd have set a new record? What a way to start the season!

<img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />

For the last time this season:

Good luck Man Utd

Be careful!

;)

They should always care if they lose.

We lost the momentum two years ago by playing weakened teams, and it wasn't what it did to us, but what it did to other teams - it gave them belief.

I think we've only just regained that momentum in the past couple of months.

They SHOULD always care - in an ideal world - but if we lose it virtually won't matter a jot.

If you think playing reserve teams in the meaningless games at the end of the 99-00 / 00-01 season lost us momentum for last season then I think you're wrong.

Lots would agree with you. And some with me. :)

But it does matter if we lose. Not from a trophy point of view obviously, but from one of pride - call it stamping your authority if you like, but we should go out in style.

I don't think winning at Everton would make a jot of difference as to whether or not Wenger will shut up. He will say "If we had won at Bolton and beat Leeds and scored 100 more goals we would be champions." I'd like someone to point out to him that if Sunderland had won all their matches this season they would not be relegated.

Anyway, I think if a kid is going to make an appearance it should be Fletcher. Otherwise I want to beat Everton and for Ruud to score 4.

Apparently Laurent Blanc has been offered a coaching role at Old Trafford, seeing as how Wes and John have benefited from his guidance.

That is exactly the way it should be. The players are a family, and while Laurent's arrival took some time, he should be staying as long as he possibly can.

Do they use the team bus much these days then?

;) Seriously tho, good plan.

That, I agree with - i'd to see a good team with a few youngsters like Fletcher dotted in going out to enjoy themselves.
