YEAH!!!!!!!! BRILLIANT! What a match. We let them back in it, but ffs I love United. What a rollercoaster ride.

Wow what a game thought our first half was reminiscent of 99. Everton deserves some credit but we gifted them every goal. The scoreline really should have read 6-1 or so. having said that its better then 3-3 which is what the score was with a minute left. Rudd from Ronnie Finally!

But, we should've won this one easily, should've been four, five or even six up at half time and had chances to kill the match early in the second. Why we always stop playing after a good first half I don't know.

I don't think our defence was that bad. Their goals came from set pieces, remember. We've struggled at set pieces for quite some time to be honest, even when we had Rio.

Look at the 98/99 season, how many times did we do exactly the same thing what we did today? What happened then?

For fecks sake...what a game! In one respect you have to admire our balls, Most teams would have lost that. We chose to attack them instead and were rewarded. Probably lucky to take all three points. We move on from here hopefully, Lou says it was well at the mo on MUTV, we need to tighten up though in defense. General consensus is that we are stronger, with Ole coming back the team will be full of goals. IF we get back to our defensive best then we'll be there or there abouts.

True.

Infact, we've only looked good at set pieces when Blanc was in the team. I don't every recall us losing a header at the back during set-pieces.

However we do miss Rio. But if you look out our matches even when Rio was playing, we made things difficult for ourselves, when under the cosh... (3-2, Evetone at OT, 2-1 Bolton at the Reebok, 2-1 Spurs, prime examples.. I am sure there are plenty of more.)
 
Imo that was not a matter of defence. Whole team defends and not only 4 players. The attitude of our players was disgusting at the start of the second half. We let them play and we were rebuked severely :o . We were moved back to much and Fergie didn't take an advantage when Everton moved to 4-3-3. They could be easily counter-attacked but he left slow Fletcher who was rather a poor resemblance of the first half performance. If he let Ronaldo in the first minutes of the second part, we could have scored an early goal to secure the lead. :devil:

i didn't think brown had a bad match noone were his fault. but you do defend as a team. but 3 points is as good as you can get so :devil: :devil: :devil:
 
GOD BLESS RUUD VAN NISTELROOY! It was really important to get all the 3 points today. And we did. But a football match is 90 minutes. We cant just stop playing our football at HT. Even though we're 3-0 up. Anyway. I'm sure Fergie will let them know if he's not satisfied so... ;)

should have been 6 up at half time

let everton off the hook but united did well to keep their cool in the end.
