very lucky to still be 1-1. need to do some sorting out at half time.

where are are flech and carrick
 
We are in a battle here. Its ok though - more to come from us in the second. Need a bit more composure at the back; need to get in tighter to them at the back and in the middle. We have been real close with enough killer passes to show we can score more here.

Rooney has gone back to the Rooney of Autumn 2009, his worst game of 2010 so far by far. Carrick (yet again) is failing to show any presence or authority in midfield and to make it worse Fletcher has been uncharacteristically quiet too... If this continues I'd be tempted to swap Carrick for Scholes
 
What the hell is wrong with Wayne? He's looking completely uninspired out there. One would think this was one of the more "special" matches for him.

Hope Sir Alex lets them know exactly how things are, because we're playing rather poorly against a side that isn't looking any better than what we're performing at the moment.
 
Rooney always plays shit against Everton.

Agreed. He's been lively.

Berbatov has been great for five, nowhere for ten, great for five, nowhere for ten, and so on. We need to get him involved more often when he is playing well.

Evans has been pretty shit so far.
Rooney's first touch and ballcontrol were under par as well and his partnership with Berbatov still seems not to work properly.
Good game by Neville and Brown so far I thought, also Valencia, Fletcher and Carrick did their jobs.
 
Everton look good for 3 points today, especially with our defence playing the way it is.

Rooney first touch isn't as good as it can be. Nerves ?

Berba on the other hand has looked very bright.

Carrick and Fletcher need to impose themselves more.
 
Overall, not playing horribly. Question marks on defense though. Evans continues his Milan first half performance. Rooney's touch has been poor. Stop trying to prove how good you are to Everton supporters and just play like you do. Berbatov has done well. Scored, and getting involved in the attack. Everton are doing really well when going for headers, they don't go for the ball. They play the man, fall down and get the call. Strange.
 
Classic European hangover for alot of the starters from Milan.

Best players have been Neville, Valencia and Berbatov who unsurprisingly didn't start midweek.

Park's been good as well but he's always full of energy.

Rooney doesn't look up for it which is a big surprise, seeing as he's usually champing at the bit against Everton.

This isn't the first time Rooney is crap against Everton. Must be a mental thing.
