I know its strange not having Mata or Kagawa start. But I don't who else we have that can hold the ball up and link up play. So I've just tryed picking a balanced team rather than do it the England way.(Shoving unfit players in and putting square pegs in round holes.) A team thats the sum of it parts and all that.

You're taking the piss. You must be.

We haven't conceded in 5 away games in the league. That's pretty damn impressive.

I think we'll beat them. They'll dominate possession, but we'll squeeze the 2-1 victory.

You've managed to pick a front six containing only one player who will actually start in the front six tomorrow. Impressive.

Maybe I am...maybe I not...maybe I'm a bit tipsy...either way...
Mind your feckin language child ! :nono:

There are 46 midfielders who are statistically more effective at winning 50-50 ground contests than the Belgian. Fellaini’s percentage success rate of 50.46% is below the average of 51.5% of players to have played in 10 games or more this campaign.

That he falls behind Michael Carrick (62.8%) and Tom Cleverley (51.8%) is surprising in itself. That he trails the likes of Juan Mata (52.5%), Eden Hazard (53.6%) and Philippe Coutinho (52.3%) suggests there is something wrong.

Pushing it further, you can argue that he isn’t even a danger in the air anymore - so often his forte at Everton. He has won 48 of 90 aerial duels (53.3%) at United which is above the average (47.2%) for players with 10 or more appearances under their belt but way short of the 90.5% he achieved last season.

oh dear

Lies, damned lies and statistics.

Yep, just lies! Instead we should just listen to everything you have to say about Fellaini and Moyes. It will take you some time to admit how wrong you are, no doubt. Just as wrong as you were with our league position prediction! Remember when you insisted months after the season started how we would win the league? Look where we are now! Can't wait until we have a competent manager who immediately then sells this excuse of a footballer.

My insistence on our chances were from October to around the Hull game on 26th December, where (if memory serves) we were only five points off the likes of City and Chelsea (and only two points behind Liverpool!). I see nothing wrong with my optimism then as we shaved the deficit to City/Chelsea from a high of 13 points in October to only 5 points at the end of the Hull game.

Our season imploded in the first two/three months of 2014. My original bullishness was well before that (and indeed somewhat vindicated by us clawing eight points back in a matter of weeks, which is what I was implying we'd do at the time. I, nor anybody else, couldn't have foresaw our early 2014 form).

The abuse of Fellaini just goes overboard. I agree he's been crap for us thus far but who hasnt?! He was playing with an injury that clearly effected his game and has just become the scapegoat of a torrid season. The lads shot of confidence and he isn't playing to the best of abilities but he isn't as bad as so many people are making out. I don't know about you but I hated playing Everton with Fellaini in that side, he's awkward and disruptive and thats what we need him to start imposing on other teams again. Personally I thought it was a mistake signing him but he's here now so let's just hope he can pick up some form.

Playing against him when he was a target man for Everton is completely different to seeing him in our team. We also don't enjoy playing against Andy fecking Carroll, ask DDG, but that doesn't mean we should have him in our team as well! I couldn't care less how much abuse he gets as long as it's not personal but just based on his football abilities. We paid 27 mil on him and he is one of our highest paid players playing like an anti-footballer for us, that's all what counts for me here!

This is a great game for Moyes.

If WE win, its a result for Moyes

If Everton win, its a result for Moyes (his squad innit)

If its a draw, 2 points for Moyes

I've had a great day today and I don't feel like watching this and being brought down. We will play shit as has been usual this year.
I expect 3 - 1 to them.

Not concerned I reckon we're going to hammer them.

An easy win.. It's only Everton.
They've had their fun this season.. good for them. But I'm afraid I've got some bad news...

There's still a part of me that hopes that a loss would see Moyes finally kicked out just like in most other dead rubber games we've had in the last month or so but then we get closer to kick off and the United in me kicks in there's nothing but a win on my mind.

For our Top 4 hopes next season we'd be better off with Everton in 4th than Arsenal though. Arsenal in the same boat as us would give us a better chance next year.

Awful day to be Martinez, he wins it's because Moyes has left him a pefect squad, he fails to win he's a terrible manager and the worst human being ever.

End of season games against Everton are always peculiar matches, i expect Everton to start at 100 miles an hour, but they are not Bayern so United should be able to cope with whatever they throw at them. Then the question will be, can Everton stop Mata/Rooney/Shinji if they all play? I doubt it!

I've always played down the 'Moyes is a smug count' talk but that gif makes it really hard not to think that

Beware of the Minj!

We've had 9 or 10 days to prepare for this match, we should be winning this.

I think they will win. They're well and truly in the scrap for that 4th spot. I really hope we can get the win though. Just so we can end this season with a bit of positivity. To show something.

I'm really not looking forward to this one. It's a no win situation. If we win then it's barely an achievement since we've been so shit and its Moyes' old club. If Everton win it'll be a nightmare.

I'm beginning to feel nervous that moyes will do the dumb thing and leave kagawa on the bench despite him being our best player lately. He'll probably start welbeck and Valencia on the wings and question why we're playing shit, despite the answer being leaving the key player on the bench.

Don't let yourself think of such things! :(

What do you think the reaction will be if Moyes does lose this?

I mean, the guy is invincible. If he's not been sacked now, no result is going to change that and yet the media keeps tip toeing around him and apologising for him.

Are you from the UK? Because you couldn't be further from the truth. The British media's Martinez love-in means that he'll get credit today no matter what happens. Moyes won't get credit for an Everton win, are you having a laugh!?

Welbeck, Mata, and Kagawa all deserve to start in their favourite positions(Kagawa can start on the left if Mata is playing in the middle) judging by their form, but I am guessing someone out of those 3 will be dropped just because Rooney is back in training and he "deserves" to start even though his form is terrible, and he usually plays awful at Goodison.

 He was just sarcastically responding to the quote. Calm down.

I just hope we play Nani, Januzaj and Hernandez, not really bothered about the result as it's irrelevant at this stage.

Yeah, that someone will be kagawa, sadly. Welbeck up top, with kagawa, mata and Valencia on the right would have great balance for this game IMO. I love Rooney but he's shite against Everton every time, as he is coming back from an injury.

Kagawa isn't a key player. You're insane and, quite honestly, don't know what you're talking about if you'd begrudge Welbeck or Valencia a start after their performances against Bayern.
