Everton vs. Man United

Is Rooney playing head-down football or does he just not give a shit about any players who aren't at least 20 yards away?

Another unwanted Moyes record. :(

Some of the comments in this thread are way to harsh.

We have started well and looking promising when going forward. Jones also unlucky for the pen as he seemed to slip just before, but a clear pen.

Playing this front four means we are flexible so if Rooney drops deep or goes wide, it's up to the others to make runs or try and get in behind. Might not be a bad idea to get Welbeck on for Nani as he will be more likely to make those types of runs.

We tried to pass it vertically, lost the ball and conceded a penalty in the very next attack. Just saying.
Ah so we should keep passing sideways so the other team don't get a chance to score. Got ya

... Moyes is that you?!

I think we're playing quite well tbh - we seem confident.

Fletcher losing the ball high up the pitch for no reason ala Bayern.

Leave it to the creative players, get back into position or make a good run for them to find you

No probably about it. Hernandez should be running the line like he did at Newcastle but Moyes is too much of a Rooney fanboi to drop his golden child.

I'm afraid that is about right. Hernandez and even Welbeck would be much more suited to this system.

Rooney seems to want to play the number 10 role and as a centre forward both at the same time.

Why the feck isn't Smalling being told to come on the overlap? Pisses me off seeing Nani on his own, having to beat two players in order to get anything done, or just have to pass it back centrally.

Why is everything above shoulder level handball for these Everton fans?

How many times do we need to see the Carrick fletcher partnership to know it doesn't work? Slow static crap.

In the galaxy of superstars, Rooney is a ballboy. A nothing player compared to real top players.

Because he's usually a bombscare going forward.

A page or so ago someone was telling Smalling to stay back.....
