I agree
He needs more time and money. Loads of time and loads of money.

We are not gloryhunters who like to win all the time.
He not got a clue what to do, these are good players and he doesn't know what to do with them. Nobody will want to play for him, he kills players careers.

I don't know about anyone else, but I do like to win all the time.

If that's not possible, then we must try to win all the time.

Edit: oh, no, 'try to win' - he's got to me

We've scored 45 goals less than liverpool this season.....45 bloody goals ...we've scored 32 goals less than man city...
This season has been a disaster because we have a manager that doesn't know how to carve teams open...we've dominated possession against everton but it counts for nothing as they have a manager that specialises in carving teams open through quick pressing attacks where as we have a total clown who only knows how to encourage teams to score through crosses and set pieces

You are not a glory-hunter for wanting to win, you are competitive.
Stupid comment.

Some serious over reactions on here. We haven't been great but if the defenders weren't all over the place this would be seen as a good performance so far. It's all on Evans and jones and buttner so far.
The defence that Moyes selected.

the manager is always responsible...but simply...Carrick and Fletcher are not good enough anymore. sorry..I love Fletch...but his days are done.

We need better CMs. But they have nothing to do with us being clueless with what to do with the ball when we have it or how to deal with quick counters.

In convinced playing smalling at right back and Jones at centre back as opposed to the other way round has cost us here.

You need your most physical and airelly dominant player up against lukaku.

No it really wouldn't have, there weren't many happy comments before the first goal I can tell you that.

Did anyone really expect starting Rooney to be a good idea? He's been struggling with that toe injury and he's never played particularly brilliantly against Everton.

But of course Moyes would be petrified of dropping him. Small-time bottler.

Really? What have we done in other areas of the pitch that would make it a good performance?

I am done with trying to analyse what is wrong with United at the moment.

The players can piss right off. They don't seem to give a toss about the club at the moment and just want to swan off on their summer holidays.

We look like we lack pace and power yet there are players on that pitch who have it they just can't be arsed in the slightest. It is a disgrace.

Im beginning to think we dodged a bullet with Rooney.

You didn't, he's proven he can score goals leading the line in 09-10. Playing in a team which worked on it's final third approach play rather than doing laps of Carrington and defensive drills.

With all that quality we still look toothless. People shouldn't be fooled by all that pointless possession, Everton could do that if they wanted to. Instead Martinez has a clear plan (because he has studied the way United play away this season) and is executing it well. His players are drilled and know what to expect.

Moyes needs to use his subs well today if there is any chance of salvaging something.

Fletcher needs a pre-season to finish his come-back, no need to bash him after the illness he had...

Kagawa needs to go, I'm talking both in this game and in the summer..

There is no room for common sense here.

Our problem is not about controlling the game, but about breaking them down when we have the possession of the ball. We have 60% or something possession of the ball.0

No idea why Rooney thinks he a no.10 when he should be up top playing on the shoulder of the defenders, not moving into Mata's position and displacing him elsewhere.

Nani needs to show more movement off the ball and makes some runs, he has been a bit too static.

Mata is being forced elsewhere because of Rooney, but he also needs to release the ball quicker and not dawdle on it too long.

Kagawa needs to cover Buttner better in defense as he is going to be exposed.

Our CMs need to grow a pair and take a shot when there is some space afforded to them.

Our entire team should be increasing the tempo and start taking risks rather than the safe option. Our fullbacks need to do better, but considering its Smalling and Buttner, guess can't ask for much more. Although Smalling's passing is pretty bad for a FB. Maybe Jones and him can switch at HT.

It makes no sense to me at all!!

Smalling is clearly a better centre back than Jones. Smalling is also not very good as a right back. What the actual feck Moyes? I know nothing about football but even I can see this.

So Everton are a vastly better without Moyes and United are a vastly worse side with Moyes.

Does anyone disagree with these observations?
The commentators absolve him of any blame for our shitness, but give him 100% credit for Everton being as good as they are, despite the fact he hasn't set foot in Goodison Park for nearly a year.

In their eyes he is some kind of football Jesus.

We need Welbeck on. I still think we can get something from this

Rooney has just played one of the worst 45 minutes you have seen this season.
I was going to join in and bash him, but he's not really looked that terrible. It's more that we don't seem to have a plan, are really indecisive. If my hearing isn't failing me I hear someone going ballistic on the touch line shouting instructions... We're picking the wrong options and not really creating any space. To pick a few out is a tad unfair, it's the whole set-up that's not working. And they are probably demoralised on the back of it officially becoming a disastrous season, even though CL glory was always astronomically unlikely

The only person that should go is Moyes.

I don't know why I was confident we'd win this coming into it. We are by a long distance the worse team here.

On a more positive note, what's the name of the bird on the BT Infinity ads? She's hot

We are about to lose twice this season to Everton, but some people will still find a way to defend Moyes.

Twilight zone indeed.

Moyes would be just as good as Klopp, Guardiola, Ancelotti, van Gaal, and Mourinho if United allow him to spend 150 million. That is all that is needed.
That was so heavy with sarcasm that my monitor has just fallen off my tummy button.

I can't wait till we sign a midfielder who can actually run with the ball and press players.

Rooney needs to come off he actually drags the team down when he plays like this, just like last season

Cue Rooney into central midfield and him throwing strikers on and losing 4-0
