Everton vs Manchester United

Ando completely dropped for poor performance it seems(since no notice for injury)

I think it'll end up being Welbeck on the right and Rooney to the left with three in midfield.

Has Carrick piss Fergie off? not even on the bench?

No wingers for today.. interesting

Considering how little they contributed to our penetration last weekend in the first half when we were actually in the game I don't think it is. Hopefully Young and Nani will regain their early season form soon...

Evans again, I see...

And 4-4-2 with Welbeck on the left? Interesting, to say the very least.

Why is that surprise?
He has been our best defender this season.

Whatever it is. I like it.

Rio and Ando dropped for poor displays seemingly.

I know Rio didn't have the best game against City but it was Evans' error which cost us the game so I don't know why Rio is on the bench with Evans in. Also can't understand why Nani is on the bench. It can't be due to giving him a rest as he didn't play midweek and we've Galati on Wednesday.

I guess Carrick is injured and Anderson perhaps dropped.

Everton bench: Mucha, Stracqualursi, McFadden, Gueye, Barkley, Vellios, Mustafi

Oh, and no CMs on the bench, again. Weird.

Fergie has this habit of fielding baffling teams around this time of the year and/or after heavy defeats, see the Liverpool 1-4, a week after we went with Scholes and Giggs in CM at Craven Cottage....

Jagielka was a major doubt before this game so if he get injured again, they are in trouble.
Saha played 120 mins on wednesday, can't see him play 90 today.

No wingers in starting line-up, no CMs on the bench, five strikers out of 18 players...

The Caf moan, Fergie wins.

Same old story!

We did this last week too. I don't understand the logic

I can't believe no reporter asked Fergie about Carrick yesterday. We still don't know why he wasn't in the squad for the last two games, is he injured or what?

And Anderson? I assume he's been dropped but then how Evans retains his place?

Carrick must be injured or would have played against Aldershot or today

Oh dear.

And Young is injured isn't he?

This is terrible news if true. We rely more on our wide players than most teams.

Morrison ?

Maybe SAF is trying to make us less reliant on them after last week?

Still, strange line up.

Sometimes you wonder whether Fergie is doing this to take the piss.

I hope we don't set out playing the way we did against Liverpool.

Time for Fletcher to step up. At the moment, he's nothing like the player that he was two seasons ago.

Maybe SAF is trying to make us less reliant on them after last week?

We'd have to change our footballing philosophy or sign/produce different kind of players for that to happen i.e midfielders who offer a threat from midfield. Can't see picking Park and Welbeck as wide players instead of Nani and Valencia doing that. If anything it just reduces out threat from wide areas rather than increase it from central ones.

Good team and a strong bench. Will be vital to have impact players, such as Nani to take on the tired Everton defence later in the game.

C'mon United!

Are we going to play exact the same way against liverpool, that was poor.
