Everton vs Manchester United

Arabs stupid pundits said that Sir Alex didn't mention Hernandez when he said he has a very strong front-line and that's similar to the 99 one.

Hernandez played on Wednesday in Mexico City in a friendly against the US.

Didn't Kagawa play a friendly in Japan as well on Wednesday or Thursday? Anyway Hernandez was shown getting off the team bus.

Your team is set up to keep the ball and Fellaini is our best player to disrupt that, he should be in beside Gibson for me. I'd replace Neville with Naismith too and put Naismith behind Jelavic to exploit your defence with their link up play. But hey, Neville might have a stormer.

Until shown that it's not worth it the Premiership team will look to crowd and hustle De Gea once more, should be interesting to see what work has been done in that area and what further improvement there is.

Be great if he scored on his debut!

I was talking about Hernandez.

Hernandez has been shocking over the last 12 months. We have RVP on the subs bench.

Come on, Sults. He scored around as many as Welbeck did last season. He wasn't as bad as people make out to be. Of course he wasn't as good as Welbeck and his own first season but he wasn't shocking at all. Had a fair few injuries as well.

But fair point, Pogue. He was very poor in pre season. And as has been reported he's played midweek so Berbatov is probably fresher as well.

Can see Neville having a stormer myself. Fully expecting him to score both a goal in a 2-0 United win.;)

Asked a gooner friend if he'll be watching this and he said Dallas is on.

I almost forgot about the defensive crisis.
First game of the season and we are already fecked.
It happens every fecking season. HOW?

This. It's beyond ridiculous now. Training probably involves our defenders firing at each other with machine guns.

Still, it's the very best starting XI, considering the circumstances.

The 0.5 being Evra I assume. So basically our defence is a tough center half who's been out for nine months, a center midfielder, a wing back and a winger.

Sounds like United.

Yeah, could make for a great game. Could go horribly wrong as well though :nervous:

He was very poor Amol (IMO). His strength was movement and defenders worked him out last year.

If we lead by two goals with 10 minutes left, we will be hearing about QPR somehow.

Berba and RvP on the bench and Hernandez and Kiko not in the squad. Talk about strength in depth!

Spot on amol.

2 defenders on the pitch:lol:
