Injuries mean half of our midfield ended up in defence, some of the signs are promising though, general movement and more desire to retain the ball, a fully balanced team will be a sight. All the Euro players+Scholes and Carrick look off the boil a wee bit. I'm putting the poor final third play down to rustiness. Last time we had a squad this deep we had a shocking start (07/08).

To be fair, how many good chances have we created? Almost a few, but actually close to none. Considering Everton has been playing right outside their own area for the half half hour it's not good enough really.
All of our attacking players have been poor, apart from Kagawa. Evra and Valencia have been terrible going forward too, for the most part.
