Everton vs Manchester United

looks like none of our players can run fast with the ball.

lack of pace is worrying

Except we have loads of pace in the side. Much more than Everton do. But you have to play with some purpose and urgency to make use of it. We just stand around ambling and passing simple passes to the nearing player. Then we eventually get it to the winger 20 seconds later who tries to put a cros sin. Rinse and repeat.

Injuries mean half of our midfield ended up in defence, some of the signs are promising though, general movement and more desire to retain the ball, a fully balanced team will be a sight. All the Euro players+Scholes and Carrick look off the boil a wee bit. I'm putting the poor final third play down to rustiness. Last time we had a squad this deep we had a shocking start (07/08).

I havent seen any signs of improvements at all. In fact it's been exactly the same as last season. Zombie passing, lack of movement(bar Kagawa today) taking too many touches on the ball. Everyone just waiting for someone else to do something.

feck this.
Everton deserve it. We were poor
Anyone other than ROoney would be dropped after that performance.

They deserved it. People are exaggerating here but it wasn't a good performance either way.

Even into 94 minutes, we're knocking it sideways around the back.

Laughable.

It's a shocking state of affairs when our main title challengers are more creative and have better attacking football than United. Not one match, but a few seasons.

We really are soulless. I don't know what's gone wrong in the last couple of years. We've come close to league and even won it. But our performances, have really not been any better than average.

They were the better team. We still can't deal with pressing.

Last 5 seconds of the match, we have 3 players in the box and pass it along the backline. feck me.
