Evra accuses Suarez of racist remarks | Suarez guilty of racial abuse

To be fair, it's all about context, was it 'Manc bastard' in a 'dale, Manco bastard' way or something far more aggressive and vile?

For those that saw the incident, was it at the Kop End, right over near the corner flag? I mentioned in the first half a fan wearing a white Suarez t-shirt.

Why would he cry over being called a "manc bastard"?

King Kenny is a loser.

Like I said earlier in the thread, best thing would be when we meet, Evra gives Suarez a hug. I think he will do because he is a big man with a big heart.

It'll show Suarez, Kenny and the LFC fans up

This is now more confusing than one of Mickey's '20 Questions' sessions.

Some blokes wearing Luis Suarez jerseys racially abused an Oldham player today

Is there a clip of the incident yet?

Don't know why, but I'd be inclined to believe "Manc Bastard".

Well done Liverpool Fc. You've educated those we thought never capable of being educated.

Unfortunately the lesson "it's ok to racially abuse people" is wrong, but hey at least they were paying attention in class right?

The player is from Norwich. Why would he cry if he was called a manc bastard :s

The two lads have got done for racism, but have just pleaded innocent.

"You black bastard" and "fecking negro" are apparently perfectly innofensive terms in liverpool. They're submitting the last two LFC statements as part of their defence.

From Oliver Holt:

Sadly, it is being confirmed that there was a racial element to the abuse Tom Adeyemi took from the Liverpool crowd.

Oh, the ironing:

RAWK said:
Shame that he's being used as a martyr of twats who want to spit racist bile.

According to Radio 5, the player has also spoken to the police.

According to RAWK:

Mirror at it already with what may have happened tonight

Yep, Maddock all over it.

feck off Maddock you fecking c*nt.

Time for all fans to feck the Mirror off

Ban them from Anfield hopefully.

When are we going to sue the crap out of Maddock and his bloody paper?

BBC journo CLEARLY states that 3 people were evicted for calling the player a manc bastard....

Surprise surprise one person heard he was called a something very bad and racist.

Ban and sue them.

Guess which paper and journalist has a quote from an 'eyewitness' with regards to this Adeyemi incident and what was shouted at him. I'm not going to link to it but it won't surprised me if they've made it up.

Then locked.

He's from Norwich and plays(on loan) for Oldham Athletic, why on earth would anyone call him a Manc bastard? I mean...it's like someone calling me a Cockney bastard...sure, I'd be hurt...but I don't think anyone'd see a flood of tears.

Maybe, that's just me. Perhaps, I'm just not the sensitive type.

Reporter: "Kenny, the wider world is pretty shocked that, if a player can call someone afecking black bastard and the player who is the victim in this takes offence, that there is no apology or contrition offered from your club."

Dalglish: "I would have thought that, if you pronounced the word properly, you maybe understand it better. I think it was Scouse he was speaking and I don't think you were speaking Scouse there."

Reporter: "OK, if a fan calls someone 'a fecking black bastard' [Scouse pronunciation], surely the player who takes offence deserves an apology?"

Dalglish: "Ask a linguistic expert, which certainly I am not. They will tell you that in Liverpool, it is perfectly acceptable. His wife calls him that and I don't think he is offended by her. We have made a statement and I think it is there for everybody to read. The fan has made a brilliant statement and we will stand by him."

The claim on RAWK was that he was called a "Manc bastard" and misunderstood it so thought he said "Black bastard" instead hence all the tears etc.

I wish someone would do me the honour of calling me a Manc.
