Evra accuses Suarez of racist remarks | Suarez guilty of racial abuse

We should of had a sweep stake.

I'll go with 3 match ban and a small fine.

I think they will go down the usual route of 2 match ban, then a stupid amount of suspended bans for if he makes the same mistake again, let's say 6, and then a huge money fine, because lets face it £100,000 or so won't be noticed by the club or player but it sounds "harsh".

So. 8 Match Ban (6 of which suspended), Six figure fine.

A lot of people saying that Uruguayan press claiming 6 game ban on twitter. Not that they'd know before the English media or that I believe them

What's annoyed me throughout this is how no one's commended how we've acted as club in this, we appreciated this was a serious accusation asked Evra to think it through then we backed him and have been silent since. Now on Twitter the likes of Henry Winter reckon inter-club relations need to be improved. The fans on Twitter have been going back and forth but as a club we've behaved impeccably throughout.

Wasnt that for biting? or was this a different incident?

He tried to spit at the guy who was about 10 feet away but accidentally bit him. It was a misunderstanding.

The longer this goes on without any word suggests a jaw dropping verdict, do we even know for a fact the hearing has finished, never mind an imminent announcement? I expect Evra will get a six match ban for being too sensitive.

They should go with a F1 Spygate type punishment, and strip Liverpool of all their points for the season, as well as fining the club an astronomical, unprecedented figure.

"Issues over the wording of statement the issue at the FA" according to some guy who interestingly enough claims to work for the FA Premier League newschannel and Sky Sports and ITV News and C4 News.

Are you sure he can't just get all of those channels on his sky box?

In other words he most likely got off and the FA need the statement to be just right to cover their own backs to avoid any legal ramifications.

Argument over whether it is "bucktoothed cnut", "bucktooth cnut" or "buck toothed cnut".

I've always thought professional football should be more like a game of snakes and ladders.

According to Welsh media, Kevin Keegan has signed for Liverpool.

I'll word it for them, "Racism is naughty. Suarez may have been a bit naughty but he was trying to be nice. Now he knows it's not nice, he promises not to be naughty again."

All the admin staff will have finished for the weekend, they'll be trying to get the printer to work.

"PC load letter?"

They're probably agonising over the symbolic implications of using a black and white printer.

If they are taking this long then it would seem like it's because they've decided he is guilty but, whatever punishment they give him - they want to make sure they don't look overly harsh or lenient. If he they were finding him innocent then all they need to say the evidence / defense did enough to show no remarks were made in a racial manner.

Just a hunch, but im guessing they are delayin the ban so that either goofy only gets banned for upcoming easy games for liverpool or Evra gets a ban for uniteds harder games in the future.

Well the FA chairman is a scouse supporter? Isnt he?

Alan Shearer probably marched into the disciplinary committee meeting and said he'd retire if they found him guilty. That'll confuse them until at least Wednesday.
