Evra accuses Suarez of racist remarks | Suarez guilty of racial abuse

Dalglish: Suarez row is over | News

now kenny wants to draw a line. little nervous about the OT reception perhaps. looks like suarez will start if he's already been spoken to about the pre match handshake

"People are already speculating on the pre-match ceremony, but from Luis's point of view we have spoken to him and I know he will shake the hand of Patrice Evra and the other Manchester United players before the game."

What a prick. I've gone from pitying him to be angered by him again. Who the feck does he think he is?

He's gone from this:

We are just glad to get him back, so we are not going to go over old ground.

to this:
We don't think he should ever have been away but we are delighted to get him back.

to this:
It's time for all of us to draw a line under what happened and move forward.

So many issues. One, who's all of us? What have we said? I recall Fergie saying racism needs to be dealt with strongly. Whereas Dalglish has been talking about this non stop. Two, after saying he isn't going to talk about it, he then brought it up again, very slyly, and now he's decided WE aren't going to talk about it any more. Then there's the whole bit about 'he shouldn't have been away' which doesn't need addressing further.

Good god I hope we beat them. I don't recall me wanting United to win a game more than this one.

I'd like to see Fergie give KKKenny a Govan kiss on the touchline.

I'd piss meself if every United player went along the line of dippers shaking all hands but the Poison Dwarf.

Hang the little creep out to dry

For Suarez to shake someone's hand, it means absolutely nothing. He clearly has no honour and is most definitely is not a gentleman. He has proved that on many occasions.

Kenny Dalglish has insisted Luis Suarez will shake hands with Patrice Evra this weekend as he moved to defuse the tension around Liverpool’s trip to Old Trafford.

But while Liverpool manager Dalglish has been steadfastly — and controversially — supportive of Suarez, he is adamant the 24-year-old will acknowledge Evra.

‘I’m sure people will want to talk about Luis Suarez, but he accepted his ban, served his suspension and returned against Spurs on Monday,’ said Dalglish.

It’s time for all of us to draw a line under what happened. We have spoken to him. I know he will shake the hand of Patrice Evra and the other Manchester United players before the game.’

What the fecking feck?! I quite literally don't know where to go with this c*nt anymore. It is literally unbelievable. They're like a cult, that have brainwashed people so much and for so long, they actually forget the bollocks they're spreading, is actually - bollocks.

Oh what a big brave soul... shaking the hand of the man he called a negro, that takes real courage.

cnut.

And anyway - why the feck should Evra shake his hand? It's not being "small" of him not to.

Shake hands with someone who racially abused you, still refuses to apologise, and who's been part of a smear campaign against you. feck that.

I still can't believe United or Evra haven't taken this further re: the smear campaign.

Dalglish said there's evidence to suggest Evra was lying - this needs bringing up because being called a liar in all of this is a pretty big thing.

I'm sure no one outside of LFC believes that Suarez is innocent. But why is that cnut of a club/manager still allowed to come out with all this shit?

It's probably because Ferguson and Evra actually want to bring an end to this whole affair, rather than blathering on about drawing a line under the thing and 2 seconds later whining about how hard done by they are.

Sorry to be one of those posters, but a Scouse mate is being an idiot, so can someone point me towards the video where Suarez clearly kicks evra? The one in response to a different angle which looked like no contact

So what is the little rat faced shit cnut saying then?

Despite the fact that you're black, I'm still prepared to shake your hand?

He will deserve all the abuse he gets on Saturday.

He's only one game back (as substitute) and he's straight away acting like the dirty cnut everyone outside Liverpool knows him to be. Hope he gets sent off for something.

What a cnut...

it still amazes me that after watching the video evidence and the obvious heated exchange that liverpool fans prefer to believe that Evra has lied. that someone who would lie about racial abuse would not then say another word in public but just push ahead with a legal case and through the proper channels. turn up at the hearing. give his evidence. be judged believable and right by others. and not want to retailate against the attacks on his character.

how do you square the fact that evra would lie about this and then not say anything in his defence when he is called a liar? not go running to the media every time someone calls his character into question. its not exactly the way someone who has lied would react. you would expect them to be continually professing their innocence in public and attacking the other party. like someone who has lied about it all. wonder which party is behaving in that way? there should be no handshake from any united player when there is not contrition from the other lot

Liverpool's position is that Suarez used the term negro once, and Evra completely invented several additional uses of the term in the goalmouth. If you're holding that position then Suarez is the victim.

Not really.

And even if they were correct in thinking that (which the widespread accepted truth is that they are not) ... so it's OK to racially abuse someone, as long as you don't do it more than once?

Cant believe they have brainwashed all thier fans into thinkings its a conspiracy and that the FA is ran by Fergie

Still it gives them an excuse to hide behind another season of mediocracy.

This entire circus surrounding the game will suit Liverpool more. A normal game between the two of us and we'll beat this lot 10 times out of 10 at OT. Maybe that's why Kenny's stoking the fire?

Suarez won't be a Liverpool player in two or three years, his time in England will always be remembered for racially abusing Evra and not anything he'll have done on the pitch, shake his hand I say, we're bigger than that.

They also hold that it wasn't abuse, and that the use of the term was conciliatory. What the widespread accepted truth is is irrelevant because they don't recognise the legitimacy of the independent commission, they're standing by their man, showing loyalty, you'll never walk alone and so on.

Their position is irrational, myopic, and their conduct has been shambolic, but it's not surprising that they're portraying Suarez as the victim of Evra when they hold the position that they do. If Suarez is telling the truth, which is almost a foundational belief for them, then Evra has behaved like a cnut and Suarez is the victim of a grossly unfair punishment.

Don't do anything except win the feckin' game. We've not been talking about it, all this recent noise is coming from Liverpool's side, we're going about this professionally and correctly.

We shouldn't stoop that low, shake his hand, beat the feckers, celebrate, last laugh.

What's wrong with not shaking his hand? The only people who will say he's a dick for not haking his hand is the scouse cnuts. I'd say there's other players in our team who won't want to shake hands with him. Fwiw though, I think Evra will shake.

Liverpool seem intent in making more of this, for whatever reason, it's beyond me. We're concentrating on the actual game, a massive one for us in the title race while Liverpool seem more concerned with Suarez and Evra... Lets not make the game about Suarez, lets make it about getting one over the scouse and putting more pressure on City.

Are they fecking mental? I mean honestly? How deluded can people be?
God I've never wanted to beat a football club more than those bunch of pricks.
Please let's win it.

how so? it makes feckall difference whether you say it once or 10 times. he's a racist either ways and far from the victim.

fwiw, evra will shake his hand, he's that kind of a man and we're that kind of a club. but, i wish he wouldnt..

I would hazard a guess that the LFC owners are not pleased with Suarez or the way KK has represented the club recently. According to the Telegraph they have recruited Brian Barwick to conduct a review of the clubs media output and make recommendations. "The owners are determined to ensure the global perception of the football club is restored to the way it was during their heyday. Recent high profile events have undoubtedly damaged Liverpool's name and the owners are anxious to learn lessons".

Maybe this has something to do with KK now coming out with this shaking hands statement.

Sorry I don't think that's it, I was sure there was a youtube one showing it indisputably, including the force force of the contact. Can't find it anywhere though

Aldridge said: “I couldn’t believe it when I heard that Wayne Rooney had tweeted that Suárez should have been sent off. Rooney needs to focus on sorting out his own club before he worries about anyone else.

Eh.......what needs to be sorted out at our club exactly?

All this myopic defending of Suarez for everything he does. Liverpool in this situation are like the guy that scores the bird of his dreams only for his friends and family to keep telling him shes bad news. He lashes out at all around telling them they dont understand and they are all wrong and feck them all if they cant see how great she is. shes perfect and would never hurt him. Eventually she fecks off with someone else and leaves him humiliated and crying into his pint. Ye cant see it now LFC but its in the post with this prick
