Times has definetly changed. I have seen races in much worse contidion than this but I can understand the safety first.
This is one of the wettest race days I can remember.I thought they used to race in these sorts of conditions too
It wouldn’t take a rocket scientist, the over spray is going to be wild if you haven’t got a clean run infront.I don’t see how he would know that. The drivers are instructed to report what they are seeing and feeling themselves, not guess what the other drivers may or may not see.
Why? Think they're still discussing whether or not he can startno masi said he can’t
It would've got red flagged after a big crash within 1-2 laps if they had started at race time. This is one of the wettest race days I can remember.
Maybe a Japan GP 96 I think was wetter and a Monaco race , both red flagged.
Don't understand how Perez can start. So the time window has started and Perez can start the race.
I agree, not starting the race is correct. It would've got red flagged after a big crash within 1-2 laps if they had started at race time.

gutted with this delay, probs will be called off now
From what I heard it started at the time the race should have started. The timer started but I assume it was from 2.25 rather than 2
Fair enough, he would know it thoughSure he could make an educated guess but I don’t see why the guy in front should report on what he thinks it’s like for the other drivers.
The race had not started, the stewards said. But the race is 43 now laps not 44, so had started.Don't understand how Perez can start.
Clear as mud.The race had not started, the stewards said. But the race is now laps not 44, so had started.
German Sky only mentioned 3hDid this 4H thing change to 3H?
German Sky only mentioned 3h
If anything we may get a couple of laps, for half points.F1 and all it’s time rules is fecking ridiculous. Feel sorry for the fans in the rain that probably paid hundreds to get there and see it, even if we get a break in the weather they might see 30 minutes of racing.
Race didn’t start so he couldn’t be a lap down, it was 2 formation lapsSo surely Perez is down a lap?

why start the clock, such bullshit.
I think it might, but behind a SC , just to get half points. This isn’t starting today
