Max over a second clear. Pole is his as long as he doesn't bin it.

Alonso keeps a high placing. Max 5 seconds quicker than his previous time and the Merc lads finding tons of time as well.

The wet made Q1 and Q2 a bit of a lottery, made the field a bit more even.
Q3 might throw a shock up.

WOW the bouncing on Lewis car is dreadful.

Just realised Zhou went to school about 20 houses down from where I lived for 2 years, small world.
track is drying , times will get faster.
If Lewis had confidence in his car, I think he would have been out on slicks soon.

It's been super windy and dry here in Ottawa, but I see on the weather radar that Montreal, and especially it's eastern side where the track is, has been stuck under a slow-moving rain weather system. Looking at the forecast, there is unlikely to be any rain at all tomorrow though.

Alonso putting Sainz to shame. Thought he may have dropped down a bit in drying conditions.
So happy to see Alonso up there, still my favourite F1 driver. Amazing to be doing it at this level at his age.
