F1 2022 Season

Norris through after Zhou has lap-time deleted!
What a reprieve for Lando Norris!
Zhou Guanyu loses his time, not for the first time today, for exceeding track limits.
That means Norris goes through to Q3 in P10.
Tough on Zhou

In its current guise, yes. However Alpha Tauri will most likely be sold off by Red Bull before 2026.

RIP

Looking ever more likely off the back of this news.

Perez's five-place grid penalty for Sunday's race was confirmed on Friday - along with Alfa Romeo's Zhou Guanyu - while during Practice Three it was revealed that Leclerc and Fernando Alonso, who was sixth, have even bigger drops.
Leclerc has a new Internal Combustion Engine and turbocharge, while Alonso just has a new ICE

Interesting to see what happens to RedBull racing. Will the thai owners want to carry on seeing as it was dietrich' baby.

They have a sports empire and RBR is currently it’s top sports brand, can’t see them breaking it up when F1 is just going from strength to strength financially.

As far as I’m aware the Thai’s inherit all his shares on Red Bull. It isn’t going to be as clear cut as them not wanting to break up a brand.

Ocon out in Q1 agreed a shocker, M Sch is finished in F1
Danny is better than what he is doing.
Because he’s 2 tenths behind his team mate in a piece of shit car? Should have had points in Japan but haas fecked his strategy.

I’m hoping he leaves that shit show for Williams because he’s categorically spanked Kevin since Monaco in races and that feckwit running haas is just continually running them into the ground.

Williams announced their new driver alongside Albon.

I doubt that’s true can’t imagine anyone just giving billions away like that, especially as the 2 founders of the modern red bull went in with equal amount invested, the man who made the original Thai red bull split his shares between his family when he died.

Mateschitz only had 49% shares in Red Bull.

Yes, but there is a difference between wiki and some videos I’ve watch on red bull, wiki states the Co founders son has 51%, while the videos claim the son has 2% with rest split between the co founders family. Fun fact about red bull is they don’t even make red bull they get someone else to make it for them.

realistically I see them selling AT, it was formed to bring through there young drivers, other teams will do that now if they are good enough.

Thanks, I’m well aware of the structure. I wouldn’t be calling AT ready to be sold if there wasn’t some weight to it. As @hobbers said most likely party will be Andretti.

Sure RB will be fine as long as they are allowed to overspend on catering next season.

In fact all the teams should overspend on catering. It does seem make you go faster on track...

Ferraris looking quick in qualifiers again, but I doubt it will be the same in race, as always. They will probably ruin their tires by lap 5.

Apparently we are back to a single race director next season, no swapping on a race by race basis. I mean after masi, what could possibly go wrong by going back to a single race director?

Do you have one post here in last how many without being bitter and talking about Red Bull/FIA?

You should probably stop watching it considering it looks rather stressful for you.

Says redbull fanboy. Dont like my posts, just put me on ignore.

My point stands, a single race director for the entire season was changed because of masi and his cockups throughout the 2021 season. We had two race directors in 2022 to prevent that from happening again. Now we are going back to that setup.

I am not Redbull fanboy, my favourite team is Ferrari ffs

A well fed team is less likely to come up with a sidepodless shitbox concept that cant go over bumps or keep within half a second of Ferrari all season.

So with the slightly mixed up grid, hoping this race will be exciting? I know the seasons done. Wonder if they’ll have cowboy hats instead of NFL helmets this time around.

amar and redbull, sitting in a tree,
not paying for things they oughtta be.
