It’s impressive but Russell spent absolutely ages driving defensively to keep Max behind him which cost him time too.
Sainz needs to sort this shit out, Charles is the no1 driver but he needs to be close by to pick up the points on weekends like this.
Mercedes now have a base to build on then, still miles off RB but if they are on top of issues they can try and cut into that gap.
