Why? If anything, they are least helped by it. Hamilton was on 10 laps older hards than Leclerc before this, and Max had to pit.

i think RB implied he has a rock solid contract. Though rumour mill says he will be replaced if he loses P2 in WDC to hamilton. RB have never had a P1 and P2 in WDC before. Apparently they want that.
Perez could have had a really good race if he didn’t pinch into Leclerc. All he had to do was go wide and likely Max keeps first place but he’d have had the line to go into T2 ahead of Leclerc. Really frantic and desperate. You sense he’s in trouble for his seat next year.
