FA-Cup: Exeter City vs Manchester United 19 January 2005

good result, some players proved again not supposed to be manutd quality, and i hoped that saha could score. but good result, now we have to know out boro

Full Time 2-0 Nervy second half but we should have rapped it up.And we did what the dippers could not do we are through to the next round.:D

We were pretty pathetic in second half dunno why that was perhaps the wind got more intense or something but anywho we won so fiddely di fiddely da..

not a very good match from our side but nice to see ronaldo score. hopefully we will se more goals from him now. The pitch has to take some of the blame though.
Scholes(?) had a shot that stopped in the mud in the line

We came up with:

Fletchaldo

or

Fletchinho
I like Fletchaldo. I think Fletchinho would need a Fletcho or something (so he could be the "little Fletcho"). Is it the same with with Fletchão?

I just don't get why a lot of you don't rate Darren Fletcher.

Improved every game I've seen him. He's a quality young central midfielder.

I think the lad's great but a lot of people here disagree.

Djemba was utter shite today, couldn't pass or run. A lot of the time I just seen him go and stand next to Scholes. Miller wasn't much better, infact we didn't play that well. Got to give credit to Exeter for working the team hard though.
In all it wasn't a great game to watch, apart from the goals the highlight was that physio woman person

O'Shea was lucky not to get cautioned or even sent off, he should have got a yellow

Saha should have came on much sooner as we kept looking as though we were lacking that extra forward, would have been good for him too

The 2 goals were taken well, but too many wasted opportunities

It was never going to be a great game to watch. Exeter did their best to spoil it and fair play to them. The pitch was terrible, and we lacked a little bit of fighting spirit, but it the cup and all that matters is that we are through
