I can honestly say that this is the Monaco player I want the most. He seems to be exactly what we need. I actually think I want him more than Griezmann.

A midfield of Herrera, Pogba and Fabinho would be exceptional. It ticks every box and gets the best out of every player.
 
I think you guys would do well with Danilo Pereira.

We already have a resident tall, gangly runner in Pogba (who is also similar to Viera).

Agreed, I'd be very happy if United went into next season like that. (need Shaw to really get back into form)

Mikhi isn't a LW, and we can't depend on Rashford and Martial to lead the line the whole league.

This formation will be up to another top 4 battle imo.

Meh. Mkhi is way better through the middle. Griezmann is best as a second striker and I wouldn't like to be dependent on Rashford and Martial as our number 9s.

If our transfer business goes through like all the reports suggest, we will play 4-2-3-1. Perisic is on the left of the 3, Griezmann in the middle, Fabinho with Pogba, and either Belotti or Lukaku as a striker. Mkhitaryan will play on the right, Bailly as a CB.

That's 7 out of the first 11 that will be Mourinho buys; it will be his team.

I'll prefer this, Mikhi and Griezmann can interchange their positions through the match while Preisic is hugging the left flank. We'll also have a good very good bench : Mata, Martial, Rashford.

No chance of Herrera being dropped, he's probably one of the first names on the team sheet.
 
What's the general feeling now then, are we or Juventus going to be signing him? Any concrete news?
 
Pogba, Herrera and Fabinho in a midfield 3 with Griezmann, Martial and Rashford as a fluid front three, interchanging whenever they please! Solid and powerful/pacey!

To the league title!
 
This would be a signing to really get juices going, really want this man to replace Carrick shielding the back four.
 
Not 100% sold, as I have seen so little of him. What sets him apart from other players in his position?

Just a heads up about that Julian_mgrt account that reported that we are leading the race for Fabinho. I'ts this guys new account who wanted to separate transfer information from his personal twitter after his account started getting a lot of attention. From what i hear he was the first to break Silva to City and he has been pretty solid all around for Monaco transfer stuff, he has some links with the club apparently. Le's not get carried away with this one but..... FabinON! :devil:

Agreed, we've needed a solid DM for a long time and I'm convinced this guy is it. Fabinho, Herrera and Pogba has it all and is a midfield very capable of challenging for titles.

In some ways I'm sort of surprised Mourinho has yet to sign a Portuguese player for us yet - the current generation seems to have a few decent options. I guess he's after more proven or tested players.
