Fantasy Premier League 18/19

feck it, made a couple of subs after three bad weeks. New team:

Ederson
TAA, Rudiger, Trippier
Mane, Richarlison, Hazard, Sterling
Aguero, Jimenez, Arnie

Subs: Hamer, Wan-Bissaka, Bennett, Musuaku

Thoughts?

Awful week - took out Mitro as you know already and replaced him with Jimenez and of course Mitro goes and bangs in 2 goals whilst Jimenez draws blanks..

Anyone thinking about Sterling... STOP. I just bought him so guaranteed he will be benched and comes on in the 89th minute for 1 point.

 Feck sake.

I took him out ages ago when the time was right but there’s always a risk of this if you hold on I think.

Do you know how long I was deliberating taking him out? Lol nah it's actually a joke

Help me Vee what do I do now?

I'm thinking of taking a hit of Hazard to Sterling...… is it worth it? I just feel Sterling is on a nice run and Hazard/Chelsea aren't doing much at the moment.

I'm even tempted to bring in Sane too, with Mendy out he surely will play most games now right?

Absolutely shocking week. 37 points. Hazard would be gone already if they didn't have Fulham at home next weekend but he's definitely the main candidate to make way for a City midfielder after that.

Got Sterling in for Hazard now, will bring him back in for Martial, takes about 3 transfers though. Having Aguero as the only City's attacking asset cost me this week, really annoyed. Everyone's played and on 48 points, so left hoping I won't fall out of the top 50k after tomorrow's match.

Yeah City smash West Ham and Aguero blanks. What are the chances?

I reckon Salah and Aguero to Sterling and Kane night be the move to make in a couple of weeks. If Hazard doesn't show me anything against Fulham then it'll be him that goes instead.

Unless injuries happen, I think I'll save the FT.
Don't have a clue on what to do, and keeping calm has worked out fine so far.

So many different scenarios to consider.
I can swap Auba to Aguero, but that'll stop me from getting Sterling later. Can do Hazard to Sterling, but Hazard is playing Fulham, and means I can't bring in Aguero. Kane? Nah, 2FTs one week from now seems the better option.

Staying calm allows me to figure out how to do things properly, and plan for the Christmas schedule. So many things I'd like to do with my team, but really I don't have to do anything I feel. I even have three fit players on the bench, which hasn't happened at this stage in a season ever I think

Decent return.61 mins 4 all out.Raheem saved my bacon.:boring:

Views from the Caf please:

Martial and Digne > Sane and Bennett for a -8?

Can’t afford Sane tomorrow as he’s due to go up in price tonight.

In general terms, a good move but I'd avoid - 8 hits like the plague. But far better advice would be to avoid advice from me like the plague. I appear to have pulled a Leicester on it.

Remember it’s the game that’s wrong, your decisions were all excellent.

And speaking of excellent decisions I’m actually extremely tempted to take a -12 and go:

Martial / Salah / 4.3 fwd > Sane / Kane / 4.3 mid.

Unless you're really falling far behind, a -8 and -12 is a big no no. I did a - 12 last year, but that was because I was like 1 000 000 overall, and had to do something drastic with injuries and the possibility of only starting 8 or 9 players. Keep calm, and plan better. Shipping Salah and Martial for -12 is crazy.

Crazy. Presumably you've only just brought in those players as well. Sane (as explosive as he is) is a massive rotation risk.

I think people are hitting the panic button a bit after this weekend because of the template players (Aguero, Hazard, Alonso etc..) blanking and the City mids exploding. I had an appalling week all things considered (37 points) but the only transfer I'm considering is Hazard to Sterling and then only if it looks like Hazard is injured, otherwise it can wait.

Anyone?

Worked for me this week trading Hazard for Sterling otherwise it would have been a very poor week. I've been wanting to put Sterling in my team for a while now, I feel I need to have 3 city players maximum more than any other team because they're guaranteed points every week and they're all chipping in with goals and assists. Only annoying thing about having them is if Aguero/Sterling/Sane or whoever has a good game at 5-0 up Pep pulls them off after 60mins.

My forwards were useless this week. Wasted the captaincy on Aguero, I swear he has these games on the day where the goal spread is all his or he does feck all in a thrashing away. Wilson vice-captain did nothing and Lacazette didn't even play.

Haha, if you've kept Moutinho and Hughes until now, you should be more trigger happy actually!

Mané should be a good replacement, though..

Hazard dropped again overnight. Most are predictably shipping him for Sterling. Don't think I've ever wanted to see a an early transfer punished so much. Ideal scenario, Hazard hauls double figures at home to Fulham and Sterling/Sane are rested against Bournemouth after playing 90 tonight in the CL.

Need to pick one of Bennett (Cardiff Away), Wilson (City Away), WanB (Burnley Home) to play.
Could see any of them of them picking points up. Was leaning towards Bennett but WanB is at home.

Wolves seem to be struggling a bit. WanB is at home, they're quite sound defensively and he has the potential to get you some attacking points, which Bennet will not.

Hazarad, Sterling or Aguero captain this week?

Very true. WanB promoted.

I'm going for Sterling purely off him and City hitting form. He's probably due a blank though.

He's my captain which means he's cursed for zero points. Sorry lads.
