Fantasy Premier League 18/19

Just trying out different combinations. Getting rid of Salah gives me a world of options! Can't really get myself to pull the trigger, though. This side also leaves me with TAA as the only option from Liverpool, which seems a bit risky. Maybe Lukau -> Firmino up top, but then again I don't really rate Firmino that much.

On the other hand, this side can work out pretty well in a 5-2-3, 5-3-2, 4-4-2, 4-3-3 and 3-4-3.

Edit: Added another potential line up.

How do you get the view the fixture ease thing on the team line-up itself?

Re. your team - I like the second one more.

Well there's a decent argument for leaving money in the bank for future transfers so I wouldn't stress about it. I just wanted a strong bench for this period.

Yeah for sure. I just start questioning whether my more reasonably priced mids were kneejerked in (Pereyra and now Richarlison again), or whether I want Aguero with Zaha and Mitro which was my plan, or to use all my money and just have Aguero and Lukaku up top.

I reckon Richarlison is a set and forget despite how rubbish Everton are. Wouldn't be surprised to see him start plying up front actually with Tosun fluffing his lines game after game.

And I thought 48 was bad :lol:to make it worse iam only 55 off the top overall score:(

I'm on 43 myself. I think that's to be expected when they're coming from the likes of AWB, Bennett, Hojberg, Billing etc which is not really anything you can complain about. Nobody is going to be starting Hojberg over the like of Salah even though he's outscored him comfortably in the last 2 gameweeks.

I am inclined to swap Salah for Richarlison and pocket the £6.4m difference in price when Richarlison comes back and then spend this on upgrading Kamara to Aguero (I have £0.5m in the bank) I don't want to spend any points right now + Richarlison doesn't play while Salah is up against Southampton but next week this could be a good move.

I'd have opportunities to play 433, 343 and 442 easily. Right now I'm set on one formation because my bench is useless.

The issue with that plan is that if any of my players go down in price or either of Aguero/Richarlison rises I don't have that move anymore. I am only playing for the victory in a league with my friends and am currently 45 points behind the leader, maybe I will actually sacrifice the 8 points already to avoid a situation where I can't make that move anymore. Richarlison would be on the bench this week while I'd go with Lukaku, Aguero and Mitrovic up front.

How likely is Aguero to rise or Salah/Kamara to fall?

Salah will likely drop in a couple of days. Aguero won't rise this week, he is actually in a negative, but won't drop.

Richarlison will play this weekend v Arsenal.

I thought he was coming back next week.

Feck that, I'm making that move. Wait a few days and I might not be able to make it anymore and I don't have any other assets to sell. Feck 8 points, I've already dropped 12, it's a long league and this move will make it back.

I have the Richarlison and Aguero combo so I'd tend to agree.

Loving my squad right now. I don't have to rely on Liverpool players anymore, only have TAA left but he's the best and most reliable full back in his price range. I got Mendy and Aguero from City.

This weekend I'll have to decide on final team based on team news. Both Mendy and Aguero could be doubtful and it's not clear if Shaw will feature. Hope it's all clear by Friday evening.

I don't think taking out Salah is wise this week (especially for a hit) with Saints at home, he scored 3 vs them last season and despite not scoring is getting a lot of chances. I have moved Salah out for Hazard last week but very nervous about not owning him this week. Whilst Aguero is a great pick and so is Richarlison, Aguero has a knock so is a greater rotation than ever and Richarlison is away at Arsenal who are generally very good at home.

Apparently Aguero had a very "strong" training session before the game. Even if he gets rotated, he would be missing today and should be back in contention on the weekend. That should calm some folks.

I know but my fear is that if I don't make this move now it just won't be available to me in the future. I'm not willing to sacrifice any other players from my team so it's either now or never if any of them moves in price and I strongly suspect Salah will.

Top in most of my leagues but needed to take a 12 point hit this weekend coming. Needed to improve my midfield and remove the rotation players so i brought in Lukaku, Mane, Shaw and Fraser in for Mkhitaryan, Theo, Baines and Kane.

Is it worth taking -4 for Mkhi -> Richarlison?

Hell no. First of all, you don't know if Mkhi will play or not (unless injured). Secondly, Arsenal (a) is a red game for Everton - so odds are he'll get 1-2 points, wheras Mkhi can end up at 5-10 points if he plays. Not worth it, in terms of probability at least.

De Gea
Mendy Robertson Luiz Shaw
Kante Salah Hazard David Silva Hughes
Aguero

Subs: Ings, Wan Bisakka, Kamara

Thinking I might stay put with this team for the weekend, only one free sub. Thoughts?

Save your transfer, play Obi Wan ahead of Kanté.

Team this week

Ederson
Alonso Mendy Robertson
Hazard Mane Fraser Maddison
Aguero Zaha Wilson

Subs: Hamer AWB Bennett Guendouzi

£2.1m banked

Will do Maddison > Richarlison after Arsenal this week.

city losing and Aguero coming off bench pretty much the best outcome for FPL - gotta start on weekend surely

Brave? Hazard is the safest bet at this moment. In a good run of form plus a week's rest.

It's still braver than Aguero because most will have him as captain so if he piles em in you're bollocksed.
Would've been braver last week mind when I bottled it.

I brought Lukaku in this week to make him captain against Wolves but watching City lose and Aguero come on makes me think City are going to tear Cardiff a new one and Aguero has not scored in a long time therefore now is his chance...…..

Also what's the deal with Mendy?

Ederson
Obi Wan Van Anholt Mendy Alexander Arnold
Salah Mane(c) Richarlison
Aguero Arnautovic Zaha

Should I stick with Mane as captain?
And I want to have Hazard in there but then I have to drop Salah I think. Stupid move?

Did Mané -> Hazard and Rovertson -> Alonso, and already regret it. Liverpool have the easiest fixture this weekend, and Chelsea are bound to slip sooner rather than later.
