Fantasy Premier League 18/19

I've been trying to think long term the entire season, clinging on to Salah since the beginning. I simply can't defend his points per mill anymore. But I agree, it's probably gonna bite me. The only other option is to downgrade Hazard or upgrade Aguero, but I'm not sure I want to do any of those transfers either.

Bah, I'll probably just upgrade Fraser to Maddison and save 1 transfer to still have 2 FTs after next weekend.

If I was a Salah owner I'd give him 3 games more then make a decision. The potential benefits outweigh the costs Imo.

People dumping Mane is a strange one, considering they have a decent run of fixtures after the City game, including Huddersfield, Cardiff and Fulham in their next 5.

Yep don't really understand that one, they have a great record against City too so I'm not put off by that.

Thoughts on dropping D.Silva and Aguero > Sterling and Vardy? Aguero seems to be getting his minutes managed, desperate for the international break.

Sterling won't be a good idea especially for the next game.

So I'm not getting on the Harry Kane train after all. But with 2 FTs and 1,4 in the bank, I've got to do something. So now the choice is one of Fraser -> Maddison or Shaw -> Trippier.

Or maybe even Ederson -> Patricio.

3rd October

Risers (1)

  • Sterling Man City £11.1

Fallers (3)

  • van La Parra Huddersfield £4.8
  • Bardsley Burnley £4.3

Guys this is related to my draft team. One of the guys has offered me Eriksen in exchange for Trippier. Is that a good deal for me? We'll have a fresh auction in Jan. So this is only till December.

I’d say no, Eriksen hasn’t started the season well at all and is currently injured anyway (what’s more in his absence Trippier will probably be on all the important set pieces). If it’s till December then I’d stick with Trippier.

Thanks bud. Will stick with Trippier!

What we thinking about Lpool vs City? I have 2 of their defenders......

Only defender I wouldn't bench is Robertson, because of his potential offensive output.

I have Ederson myself, but of course I have Hamer on the bench, so I've got no other options.

Played my wildcard this week because I didn't know it was a break next week. Brought in:

Fabianski - Rui Patricio
Alonso - TAA - Laporte - Shaw - AWB
Maddison - Sterling - Hazard - Xhaka - Knockaert
Zaha - Kane - Dings

Decided to ditch Ederson to rotate then two which saved me 0.7m. Aguero out, Kane in. Salah and Eriksen out too. Will also get rid of Zaha when Palace's fixtures get heavy, probably for Mitrovic.

I'm personally not happy with Xhaka but he's the best under 5.5m midfielder who may occasionally get points option I could find. Gudmonssen for Burnley was the next best option.

Knockaert is another gamble. I would have downgraded defence for a better midfielder but I can't see any good ones between 6-7m

Still undecided on rolling my transfer this week. Spurs mids are tempting but maybe not for just a 1/2 week punt. Salah again unimpressive so might be better to stick with Mane.

If I hold I guess I've got the option of a mini wildcard over the international break where it might well come in handy. *talks himself into holding*

Maddison's value is going to rise again tonight and Neves is going to drop. Might make the change tonight and decide on the other change over the international break.

Just swapped out Mane for Hazard and made him captain. At the very least it might jinx him.

I can bring Sterling in in 3 weeks all going well. I've only got about 0.2 leeway though. If he scores a couple he'll surely blast through this.
I'm wondering whether to just take two hits now and bring him in on my ft after the weekend?

i've captained Pogba this week, not making any changes this week, going to take a hit of 4 or 8 points next week and make 3 or 4 changes

Why? The team and Pogba does not seem to want to win for ther manager.I have Pogba but thinking of benching him.If Mourinho does not go i will replace Pogba.

Newcastle are junk and I can see him having a big game 'to save jose's skin', just a gut feeling really

feck it. Knockaert in for Dilva. Nice to have someone playing in the Friday game and he's got great fixtures long term. I can now get Salah back in for Mane after the international break or KDB for someone if he looks ready to start.

Rolling the dice on Pedro > Lamela for the Cardiff game. Think they'll stick a few past them at home, without Eriksen and Alli.

Take a hit to switch aguero to kane when i plan to wildcard next week?
Or ride it out and hope kane doesn't go goal crazy?
Or an outside transfer.of aguero to say lukaku or someone? Risky!

I did Aguero to Kane and -4. Simply because there is a reasonable chance for a hat-trick and 3 bonus points - wheras Aguero will most likely not score more than maximum one, and bonus points, who knows? It also makes the captain choice easy this round. All in theory of course :wenger:

It covers risk.

Sod it, Aguero to Kane, and Vestegaard down to a 4m chimpy defender.
-4, but have to cover the big risk of Kane.

Lukaku would be a huge risk the way we're playing, but if he does haul, i'll be pleased for United in real life!

Lukaku has scored more than one goal only two times for United up until now I think... so statistically it’s not something you want to do. Once against West Ham last season and then Burnley a couple of weeks ago.

Opening game last season wasn't it, as for the second season in a row I'd bought a shirt with our main striker who scored 2 in the first game!
Didn't make it a third year running with Alexis unfortunately!

It's done. The risk of not having Kane at all if he racks up a 30-40 pointer as captain, while Aguero/Hazard get a 4 pointer just isn't worth it.
Obvs it might go the other way, but it's deffo the smart money.

Can't see Kane score more than 1-2 goals this week, so not wasting a transfer yet.

Cardiff will be 11 men behind ball - Tottenham will be without Eriksen and Alli - Overall a good team, but the creativity will have to come from somewhere else. Max 3 goals in that game I think.
