Fantasy Premier League 18/19

Very similar to mine.

The only differences is I have Hazard instead of Sterling and Vardy instead of Lacazette. I want to keep Hazard as he is a differential for me in my league.

Who is your Captain this week?

Son at present. Was mulling over putting Vardy back in for this GW actually and using my FT for Lacazette next. Will watch the prices to ensure I can do it (0.2 ITB would be enough currently).

I have 6m in the bank with my wildcard. Feels wrong not to get Aguero in but I like my team. Kolasinac will be coming in for a Brighton defender for the dgw

Patricio Foster
Duffy Dunk Robertson Laporte Trippier
Sterling Jota Son Doucoure Bilva
Lacazette Jiminez Deeney

Could always do Aguero for Deeney, and Kol for Laporte but Watford have a great dgw

Feels bad to have no United player with West Ham and a DGW to come.. tempted to punt on Martial or keep Pogba.

Why not Deulofeu over Doucoure?

Why not Deulofeu over Doucoure?

probably because he has a 75% chance of playing...

I have;

Ederson/Homer
TAA/Kelly/Morgan/Laporte/Wan-Bissaka
Hazard/Oriol/Sterling/Doucoure/Hojbjerg
Aguero/Jimenez/TBC

8.2 in the bank - any suggestions?

Alright lads, it's feckin' business time now in FF.

Surprised that almost no-one is talking about Mr Anthony Knockaert - worth a punt?

Likewise, Sigurdsson will surely haul against Fulham (as he did earlier in the season).

Who to cap...

Vardy - plays on Friday, surely can't repeat last week's haul, Newcastle are due a clean sheet.

Son - plays vs Hudd but I think will have his minutes monitored and might not actually feature at all...

Mané - got a feeling Mané will haul against Chelsea, but the dippers have a magical habit of blanking whatever player I cap, yet still winning

What say you lot?

I've just changed my team to include him this week instead of Dunk. Might even captain. Crazy move? It's the time for those though if you're chasing the ML leader right?

I'll change to Bilva for the dgw.

If he plays 90 mins both games I think he will do something - possible he could go nuts (relative to Brighton - so by nuts I mean a 15 point haul over both games).

I'm thinking of capping the lad also...

I really wanna cap Jamie V, but I really don't like capping players on the Friday night. It inevitably, without fail turns to them blanking and me being sat for the entire gameweek watching rivals teams.

I just wish that Vardy started on Saturday instead.

Ryan
Robertson Digne Duffy
Eriksen(c) Son Sterling Mane
Deeney Vardy Jimenez

Gunn TAA Fraser Bennett
As a BB35 team, I am satisfied with it (Probably bring in a Watford defender in place of Digne). As a GW34 team, I am not sure given the rotations and all that may come into picture.

Thoughts?

I wouldn't let that stop you if it's who you wanna choose. He's in form for sure. I think I'm settled on Knockaert and praying for a miracle. I've got 59 points to make up.

Lloris / Foster
Alexander-Arnold / Laporte / Duffy / Dunk / Valery
Salah / De Bruyne / Eriksen / Son / Jota
Aguero / Deeney / Jiménez

I’d ditch salah and KDB for Sterling and use the extra cash to either get Mane in or/and improve that defence

Throw away weeks for me. The Kane injury killed of any decent chance of success I have this week unless, Son put five past Huddersfield. I won’t be surprised if Son doesn’t even make the bench either.

Why don’t you tell your son to start Son?

Sterling / Mane is a lot cheaper than Salah / KDB (especially as I got Mane quite cheap) so can easily go that route. After thinking it through I think I prefer this as Sterling will probably be rested vs Palace.

For Salah vs Mane I want to triple captain Salah vs Huddersfield in GW36, and generally I do think he’s a better player. Definitely in two minds with Salah though, but I’ve got so much money left over when he’s not in the team.

On the defence - what would you improve? Premium goalkeeper in Lloris, a Pool defender, City defender, two Brighton (which seems a no brainier with their fixtures this week) and then a cheap double game week 5th defender with good fixtures.

Robertson, Vertonghen

I did and he told me that he might reserve his fitness for the second leg match against Manchester City. He advised fantasy football players not to captain him. :)
Good stuff, need Spurs to knock City out.

Kane out and Alli a doubt (I think he went off injured?) - so surely Son will start?
Counting on that as Llorente and Moura are pretty useless as it is.

Also, Son started majority of the games before going to the Asian Cup. So I see no reason as to why he would be rested now.

Lloris/Foster
Laporte/TAA/Duffy/Dunk/Bennett
KDB/Mane/Eriksen/Jota/Camarasa
Vardy/Murray/Deeney

Thoughts? Am I overdoing it with 3 differentials (Camarasa/Murray/KDB)?

Anyone thinking of hiving Hudson Odoi a shout for a 5th midfielder? I fancy him to grab some minutes in the league, club wants to keep him and he's been in a really good form I think. Chelsea fans, do you expect him to be playing?

I'm not a threat to any of you guys - wallowing way too far down the league, but in need of assistance so I can win my friends' leagues. Currently leading, but afraid that I may bottle it.

Schmeichel
Patricio

Jonny
Holebas(Doubt 75%)
WanBissaka
TAA
VVD

Mane
Hazard
Brooks
Bernando Silva (Doubt 75%)
Deulofeu (Doubt 75%)

Jiminez
Vardy
Aguero

What should I do here guys? I'm facing "average" in my head-to-head friends league, so I just need 3 points really.
Was thinking of taking out Wan Bissaka for Dunk due to the double gameweek.
Worried that I have two Liverpool defends against a Hazard.
I'm hesitant that Aguero and Bernando will even start.

Happy to take a -4 if I must to set myself up for future gameweeks.

Any suggestions/advice?

I’m captaining Dunk this week. Got a feeling he will get minimum one clean sheet and maybe even both games.

“Tomorrow is not to rest players, but to take the best decision after the big victory over Manchester City. The massive risk is how we are going to approach the game tomorrow. We have a lot of players who played 90 minutes, who are not in a condition to play tomorrow. We have a strong squad, rather than rest tomorrow we want to provide the team with good energy and fresh legs to be sure we can approach the game in the best condition and be sure we are going to get the three points.”

Poch's comments. Pretty sure Son's gonna get rested now.

Thanks guys. FFS. I need that “differential” and thought Murray might be worth a shout. Gross sounds like an option along with 1 or 2 of their defenders.

What about knockaert, I'd think he'll start both games
