FC Porto v Manchester United MINUTE BY MINUTE

United are dominating the possession at the moment. This game seems more like a home game than the one at Old Trafford.

Carrick has pulled up holding his ankle. Will keep you updated.

Carrick seems ok, Porto are starting to come into the game.

Carrick gets the ball but the ref gives a freekick on the left side just outside the area.

Bruno Alves takes but it is narrowly wide of the left hand post.

My guess is Rooney has been asked to keep tabs on Sissokho, after the Porto left-back was very attacking in the first leg.

Porto have a half-chance with one of the strikers (didn't see who) attempted an voerhead kick but VDS easily saves.

Some pressure in the Utd box ends with Evra acrobatically clearing for a throw. Porto take the throw but it ends up with Utd having a goal kick.

Evra gets caught in possesion again, luckily when the ball is played in Hulk can't get to it.

A Porto player is down injured and Rooney kicks the ball out of play.

Lucho is going off on a stretcher, not good for him.

Gonzalez looks as if he is going to come on.

Berbatov plays a cross in, Ronaldo can't quit head it and it falls for Ryan Giggs who hits it cleanly, on target but my old maths teacher saves.

John O'Shea body checks Mariano and gets a talking to.

Some great passing play by Utd ends with Anderson falling over while attempting a cross.

Our passing in tight areas has been very good at times.

Rooney starts hobbling after running through a few challenges.

Rooney's fitness is a real cause for concern here.

The word metatarsal is being thrown around by the commentators :nervous:

Ronaldo does really well to tackle Helton and win a corner.

Rooney seems to be doing a bit better.
