FC Seoul v Manchester United

why are we playing Anderson and Fletcher as wingers when we have got Nani, Tosic and Park, and just bought 2 more wingers.

What does it achieve?

They arent really playing as wingers.

The most important thing from pre-season, getting the players as fit and as sharp as possible

EDIT
Granted we won't learn much about them in those positions, but they will be fitter for playing

hmm, true enough. I just dont get the idea behind trying some crazy new formation, and then not even playing the "right" players in it

They're not playing as wingers.

Because Anderson, Giggs and Fletcher are likely to play a lot of football this season and need to get match-fit. The formation and result doesn't matter in games like this.

Park isn't fit enough to start, Tosic might not feature much and Nani... I don't know why Nani isn't playing...

They arent playing as wingers ffs!! Doesnt anyone else notice this?
