If Messi wins it today it will be his fifth Ballon D'or with Ronaldo only having won one, i think that Messi is the best player in the world but the gap isnt as big as one player having five of theses awards while the other only one, i think 4 to 2 is a better reflection of the real value of the two players and is a more accurate and fair way to describe the gap between the two of them.
Anyway great players all three of them.
