SAF is not afraid to put his head on the line, this team is a big
gamble, me thinks he will pull it off!
 
I dont think he is 'resting' any of the players. IMO he is sending a message to them that their places are not permanent and that if they dont perform, like on Wednesday, they will be dropped. Hopefully it will pay off.
 
Fergie did say yesterday that several of the team came back from Portugal with knocks and might be rested.

Can we win 'owt with kids today?

Fletcher have a tendency to start games really well and then
disapear into the second half.
My bet is Giggs in at 64`th with Ronaldo switching to right.

They all DID work, but the server is getting busy and are all difficult to get on. I got disconected and couldn't get back on.
 
This is the time for Forlan to show something, hopefully it will come good. Ruud does need a rest. I would have put bellion on the wing instead of Fletcher.

At the time i thought Ruud, Giggs, Howard and Scholes was dropped/
rested, that would have been a bit of a gamble IMO.
 
listening to 5 live there and they said keane is playing cb. we nearly scored after 10 seconds, arsenal just scored ffs :mad:

It is seldom that we have a wednesday game followed by a sat game.
Howard is injured, Ruud and Giggs (our most important players now Keane is suspended in the CL) rested.
Where's the gamble?
We'll walk this game 2-0.

Ronaldo is starting to add consistency to his game I think, you can't keep dropping him while he's in this form!

Think he should start against Porto, as he gives us the unpredictability that no-one else can!
