To be fair he was very poor in his last game contrary to quite a few opinions on here and especially this fixture last year where he reportedly touched the ball 3 or 4 times in the first half. What do you expect Ferguson to do? You can only just look at Nani to see that Sir Alex eventually runs out of patience.

On the right would make us even further exposed with 2 attacking full backs, central midfielder as a CB, paired with an inexperienced right back/and occasionally played in the center.
Fergie optimized the team best given his options. With Vidic,Evans and Rio out little options we have in the center.
Well this will be an entertaining game one way or another. Only we could put a team out with 5 central midfielders
