Fulham vs Manchester United

Fulham are very strong at home. Still we need to get a hold of midfield.

The fact that both Park and Valencia have moved in, is giving Fulham the luxury of concentrating on midfield and not worry about being exposed by our wingers.

Even Evra starts looking useless when Nani's taken off and Park put in but well we need Park for his "industry" in this match. Wish we would put on Nani for Valencia though.
 
dropped off after going 1 up.... We were absolutely amazing until then.

Scholes and Fletch were controlling the midfield, Park and Val were decent too. Berbatov was excellent and Hernandez was linking up well.

Then we scored and the game changed. It could've been level.

Hopefully we pick it up in the second half again and put the game to bed.
 
Great half of football, we need to put our foot back on the gas though and get a second fairly early on in the second half.

Berbatov's been great, all he needs now is a goal. Valencia needs to keep out on the right and allow Fletcher and Scholes to feed him and make runs. Hernandez lively as well, his first touch just needs to fine-tuned a little.
 
There's a bit of negativity in here but I think we've done well. Don't underestimate Fulham at the cottage, they're a well organised team capable of beating anyone on their day. I think we've got a few more goals in us yet and we're playing some very nice football.
 
Please make it 2-0 and bring on Nani for Valencia (yellow + below par), Giggs for Scholes (saving).

yeah, Nani for Valencia around the 60th minute, would be good. We sure need Park in a match like this, especially since we play 4-4-2.

Huge exaggeration. He's hardly been in the game, though it's not really the sort of game that he can really involve himself in.
 
this game could be done and dusted. unfortunately we didnt take some of our other chances and let fulham back in the game. even as fulham have come more and more into the game we still look like we could score from every attack.

Parks attacking movement in the first half was excellent, I don't see him being detrimental to the team at all. It's through the middle we can't seem to hold Fulham.

There is a gap opening up between O'Shea and Vidic everytime the ball is played about in midfield then moved wide left. Valencia needs to up his game going backwards and we could use one of the forwards dropping deep when we don't have the ball.

Fulham are playing well. It's just the way United played the last 20 that is annoying.
 
Park and Valencia are doing good defensive jobs, and both are linking up well going forward. Not as exciting as Nani, but we need stability today. Just need to keep hold of the ball a bit more and be patient with it. Stop playing so many high balls towards Hangeland as well.
 
Have to say, again Berba looks like a different player these couple of matches. Shoots a lot more often and his movement is more direct than last year. If he could notch one today it'll do wonders for his confidence.
 
Chicha actually hasn't been that impressive - the runs are there but, being thrown about a bit. Maybe at 60 minute mark ring Giggs in to play behind Berbatov so we can tighten things up in midfield

We need to tighten things up in possession. Park has done well covering but, I think bringing Nani on for him would be good - he is getting bullied about as well.

We aren't getting any joy from the right side either - O'Shea solid defensively but, it definitely isn't helping Valencia get some more one on ones.

Hope we start the second half with some fire - Fulham are certainly going to come out guns blazing.
 
We did not just drop off. Fulham adjusted to our formation and our counter to their change has been meh...
With what Fulham are doing right now, a player like Park can not help us.
Why does Hernadez keep slipping on...I don't understand why it is only him. Must be his studs.

Rubbish.

He's been dropping deeper when required and holding the play up. Set up a chance for Berbatov and had a good effort himself...an effort he himself was involved in the quality speedy build up play.

dont think many are being negative , maybe disapointment after haveing them on the ropes , scoring and then easing of the gas and letting them back in it .
But I do agree when we get the ball we are producing some excellent football

What's with the criticism of Park? Attacking and defending he has been twice the player of Valencia today.
