Fulham vs. Manchester United

Has there been no presser for this?

JA Riise is older, fatter and slower than he was in Liverpool. Who do you think is best suited to exploit this. Nani or Valencia?

In both cases, I think Riise is up for a challenging day at work this evening and that this will give us success.

Valencia will start on the Right. He has to given his form.

I don't understand why anyone would want us to line up with anything other than Valencia on the right and Nani on the left after the last match.

It's not so much about what people want, more guessing what Fergie might do.

I have a feeling at least 2 of Giggs, Park and Young will start. If that's the case Nani, Valencia or both will miss out.

Play the same team if they are available. Coming from a 4-1 and a 2-0 victory with lots of players stepping up is something we should capitalise on.

According to the ITK on RI who always gets the lineups right, Rio is struggling for today so we could see Smalling as a center back and Rafael as rightback.

Struggling because he is injured or because he needs time between games to recover?

That would be a big blow for a difficult away.

Not on telly I'm guessing?

why got injured again...:annoyed:

off in an hour and a half to watch :)

Smalling and Evans then....

I don't know why, but when you read it like that, I don't fell quite so confident. Which is silly really because Smalling is immense as a defender and Evans has put in some great performances over the last few matches...

It's natural to not feel over-confident in youngsters without experience to help them, on paper. But I'm sure, as they've proven, on the pitch it'll be fine.

It's natural to feel more confident with Rio in the defence, he has the most leader-like qualities of our defence, arguably even more than Vidic. Having Smalling, Evans, Evra, Jones, Carrick, and possibly Rafael doesn't worry me much. Especially if Valencia plays as well. We could see Jones at Right Back and Giggs in the middle, though.

But yeah, I would have rather had Rio for this game, and then miss the Wigan game. I'm sure we'll cope though, win this and I think we'll win the next two as well, good position ready to push on next year even if City keep winning.

If we can just manage to get 3 points today, we can enjoy Christmas and New Years with two easy home games.
