Gotta say though that prison scene with Bronn made it all worth it.![]()

Bit like football ain't it?Bronn easily beats Jaime, Bronn just holds off the Sand snakes, Euron utterly destroys the SS, Jaime beats Euron.
It's the circle of questionably acted fight scenes

Don't have an issue with this.
Fighting isn't like top trumps, the most skilled warrior can fall against someone significantly less skilled if they make one wrong move or their opponent gets a lucky hit.
Euron underestimated Jaime because of his hand, had just been washed up on shore so was likely exhausted and Jaime fought ferociously because of his desperate need to get to Cersei.
First couple of minutes of this scene are interesting with regards to how things ended up. Seems like Jorah/Barristan were right, and Daenerys' conquest very much mirrored the original sack of Kings Landing (but far worse).

The sudden descent into brutality & bloodlust once discipline broke was probably the most realistic part of any of the battles they've shown this season.
Worst character in any top tv show ever?
Seriously, I can't think of anybody else. Served zero purpose whatsoever, had no depth to his character and was horribly overacted. Just a massive, pointless caricature.
Him being Jaime Lannister's last fight was so hugely disappointing. Like, are we as an audience meant to cheer when he beats generic pirate villain? Nobody cared at all.
Like Jorah said...Aye, was interesting to see the Northerners (who are built up as being more honourable than the rest of Westeros) be equally eager to take part in that brutality. Although we already had a taste of that many seasons ago with those Stark soldiers Brienne took out.
I guess they felt they viewed it as revenge, particularly after the Red Wedding. The Lannisters made this bed but it's unfortunate the civilians who had no say in anything had to die with them.
Like Jorah said...
"There's a beast in every man, and it stirs when you put a sword in his hand."
Also funny that in this scene Jorah was stressing how important the Unsullied because they won't rape/butcher when they take a city.
Who started the rape and butchery in the sack of Kings Landing? Greyworm .. an Unsullied.
Maybe he just forgot he doesn't have a dick.

I mean he PERSONALLY didn't start raping, but he triggered the whole 'soldiers rush around doing whatever the feck they want' process by chucking that spear.
I guess the key point was that thet won't rape/butcher unless ordered to. Dany starting the massacre was Greyworm's go ahead and then the northerners joined in.
The scene was definitely much more effective with the perpetrators being the supposed good guys. What with the WWs being defeated early in the season I guess there's supposed to be a "people are each other's own worst enemy" theme to the second half of the season and this certainly drilled that home.
It's a shame a lot of people have a problem with the Dany heel turn because the scenes of carnage that followed were really very well done.

It seriously doesn't matter what they did as the same people would still criticize it .
Either they hate the show but watch it just to be dicks and moan about thinking it makes them special
Or they pretend not to like it just to be dicks and moan about it thinking it makes them special
Personally if I don't like a show I won't waste my time watching it and talking about it endlessly

The Prince that was promised was the Night King and the evil force he was fighting was Daenerys.
Agreed.

Name and shame then! Let's see what these special dicks have to say for themselves.
And if they hide, it's the first case for R&R detective agency. Right @RedSky ?
It depends, can I laugh at our clients?
It's literally in our company creed.
Fantastic, i'm sold.
