Voet Jane Cobryni
They will get rid of workers rights, any sort of decent regulation and turn whatever is left of the UK into a tax heaven. Not to mentioned they will continue their assault on the NHS, Disable People, Immigrates and further the views of the right to far right in England and Wales. Whats to trust ?
And even on the Corbyn point(We won't agree on the weak point, but I'll point out that he didn't buckle at the Labour Coup and the media pressure during it)fine you think he's shite but still wouldn't a Labour government be better than this Tory government ?
Yeah, but what are his views on unprotected penetrative gay sex?Voet Jane Cobryni
Thanks for the detailed analysis of my post.Really delusional if you don't think Jeremy is weak, a shambles of a leader. The economy would tank the moment Jeremy got into power, but let's face it, it's not likely to happen.
You're just trying to turn me on now.Yeah, but what are his views on unprotected penetrative gay sex?
Thanks for the detailed analysis of my post.

Me too. Will be my first Labour vote at a GE. Andy Slaughter is a good local MP and battling both Heathrow expansion and the closure of Charing X hospital.Decided that I'm going to vote based on the local MP, rather than the national picture this time.
She could just be running on a platform of improving security for horses.

Well if by 2030 we are living in a authoritarian dystopia ruled by President Slaughter, I know who's to blame.Me too. Will be my first Labour vote at a GE. Andy Slaughter is a good local MP and battling both Heathrow expansion and the closure of Charing X hospital.
Kinell.Let's try that again!

feck James Corbyn!
28 year old labourer from a town just outside of Liverpool.
I'm going to hear this several hundred more times, aren't I?Will June be the end of May?
As a known political nerd, I'm currently doing quite a bit of 'breaking the bad news' to politically minded but not politically obsessive friends who care deeply about issues but don't follow the polls. There really is no good way to say 'there is no hope'.
Is this a thing ya'll are doing, or do I just have an odd group of friends?
That's a pretty good description of the effect I have on anyone in a relationship with me.I've made a formerly optimistic friend of mine into a pessimistic nihlist![]()
He's one of the good guys!Well if by 2030 we are living in a authoritarian dystopia ruled by President Slaughter, I know who's to blame.
Maybe just the A&E tbh. I went there with a broken finger once. Only had an STD exam in Durham.Whoaaaaa Charing Cross hospital is closing??? You can't possibly be serious???? That hospital is always full!!
I had my first STD and STI tests there yonks ago. Really sad if they're closing it.
Genuinely entertained that your Labour experimentation occurs during the reign of Corb.

It's safe. Like our Nick voting Green cause he was upset with Tory policy.Genuinely entertained that your Labour experimentation occurs during the reign of Corb.
So in addition to that absolute clown in my last post, I took a female friend out tonight. We've been out before as mates so felt like I could ask her the dreaded question. Who are you voting for?
"Convers...what are they again, the blue ones?"
When I asked why it's because her sisters boyfriend told her too, because he wants North Korea bombed and they need someone with the balls to do it.
Her and her Mum work in an off license, her sister works in Pets At Home, her dad and uncle both do manual work on the new bridge going over the Mersey. The sisters boyfriend is a football coach and at Uni.
If there is anyone that should be voting Labour, anyone, it's this family. It's not to do with Labour being in a sorry state structurally, because they don't actually know what's going on, they are oblivious, but Labour really aren't in their faces enough and the bulk of the media won't do it for them. These are the kind of people that would vote against whoever sticks a party ad in the break of their beloved Corrie, though, so Labour need to get their campaigning right.
This girl also voted Brexit because her racist mate dragged her down to the polling station. I've had it out with her mate on a separate note and it didn't end well, I actually got hounded off the Facebook post by a ton of Xenophobes.
Anyway, this means little to you lot but I needed the rant. Turkeys voting for Xmas will be the theme of this election.
Would be funny if there was a big shock and McDonnell got his hands on Jip's tax. It's safe. Like our Nick voting Green cause he was upset with Tory policy.

Yeah, that point is not lost on me!Genuinely entertained that your Labour experimentation occurs during the reign of Corb.
If anyone can beat that, I don't want to know how.My sister in law voted for the first time a few years ago. Didn't know who to tick, so chose the party with a heart in their logo

Feck Brexit, which party will invest in education?Let's try that again!

She must be a looker if you're willing to ignore that much crap and still take her out.

I bet your salary starts with a bigger number than mine.Would be funny if there was a big shock and McDonnell got his hands on Jip's tax.
I'm not sure Nick's mentioned his thoughts on voting this time round, would be interested to hear @Nick 0208 Ldn

I'm not sure they won't win with such a swing that it'll take a couple of terms at least for any recovery barring some spectacular event.I've come to the conclusion that barring a miracle like a scandal or something similar this election is pretty much over which isn't a bad thing because it gets rid of Corbyn and instead of 10 years of Tories we'll only have another 5. Win!
We've done it before, eg Brexit @Damien the most helpful mod!Is a poll on voting intent something we could add? I know the Cafe isn't likely to be representative but it might be interesting.
Holy shit!!!My sister in law voted for the first time a few years ago. Didn't know who to tick, so chose the party with a heart in their logo

Maybe you both represent a big shy Labour vote!I bet your salary starts with a bigger number than mine.
Besides my own right-ist crisis, it's been weird watching the immigrant wife veer from Tory to left, despite her loathing of Corbyn.
