Another condescending left-wing post, well done. The fact people vote for these Tories means I don't have to feel sorry for them when inevitably they get hit hard. I will just shake my head and despair at their naivety.
Another condescending left-wing post, well done.
Oh yeah, I was having a dig at the DM front page myself, but I don't like the patronising left wing bollocks some are spouting. I'm voting Labour, but certainly don't see myself in the same camp as many Labour voters in here #voteonnimbyissuesSeriously Jippy, those papers are fecking shambles.
Um, what do you want me to say? That May is the best thing since sliced bread?Another condescending left-wing post, well done.
This isn't real. No way.

I don't care for her either and she is the main reason, among others, that for the first time I aren't voting Tory in a GE. I don't care for Corbyn either.Um, what do you want me to say? That May is the best thing since sliced bread?
I am not blind nor am I deluded. I would serve my interest if people voted Tory but I cannot agree with such a level of incompetence.
It's one thing being nasty, it's completely different if you are a clueless slogan-throwing liar such as May. Btw, I've hated her guts since I first saw her on TV.
Corbyn is no idol of mine but she's a calamity. But don't take my word for it, just wait for her Strong and Stable No Deal which is better than a Bad Deal.
I was about to say it has been a whole new level of bad, but then I just remembered the Sun having to apologise for its 'asylum-seekers eating swans' story in the run up to Brexit. Does feel like the media has been that politicised over the last 2-3 years to the extent it is embarrassing. I have an FT subscription through work and find that I am reading that far, far more than I ever used to.Nah, I get that. The media have pissed me right off this time round, it's been a farce.
Strong and stable
Also the daily mail and the s*n are scummy newspapers. I can't stand the tory bias in this country it really pisses me off tbh. Rupert Murdoch can go do one.
Wow, Murdoch is really shitting himself.
The Sun always backs the winner in a GE because it basically determines it. The power of the press in this country is obscene and given who owns, it makes me feel sick.
I'm a labour voter as you know, i just wanted to say that it's Diane Abbott who fills me with dread.I don't care for her either and she is the main reason, among others, that for the first time I aren't voting Tory in a GE. I don't care for Corbyn either.
I just don't get your patronising head shaking or not 'feeling sorry for them'. It's very self-righteous and pompous. My wife and I are actually both voting Labour, even though his income tax proposals will mean she is taxed to death even more. The prospect of McDonell as chancellor fills me with dread though.
I'm a labour voter as you know, i just wanted to say that it's Diane Abbott who fills me with dread.
Should the very unlikely happen and Labour win there is simply no way that she can be any part of any cabinet.
It's probably too late though, the papers are going to go full throttle on corbyn for the next day and a half.Jezza has come around to that point of view too, I think.
You've missed out the fact that the Times and the Tel are leading on 'I will be a terrorist' re the Italian London Bridge guy. Not all of these articles are splashes, some are second or third stories tbf. It also omits the big Labour rags, such as the Mirror and Indie. The May human rights stuff is hardly positive reporting on her, I'd argue too.So all headlines: https://twitter.com/i/moments/872214579086053376
Daily Mail: Apologists for terror
The Sun: Jezza's Jihadi comrades
The Daily Telegraph: Special Branch kept tabs on 'subversive' Corbyn
Daily Express: Vote May or we face disaster (also: Don't let it happen! EU Boss Juncker and his cronies want Corbyn to be Prime Minister)
City A.M.: PM: I'll rip up human rights if it helps to stop terrorism (also: Abbott is latest victim of email prankster as poll points to Tory win)
Metro: May vows she'll tear up human rights law
FT: May targets opposition heartlands as security questions dog final poll push
The Independent: Corbyn's right: wars provoke terror, say voters
Morning Star: Rail staff anger over Tories' fake praise
The Herald (Scotland): Sturgeon referendum bombshell
The National (Scotland): 'Kezia told me Labour would back IndyRef2 after Brexit vote'
The Scotsman: May vows to tear up human rights laws to tackle the terrorist threat
The Guardian: May threatens to dismantle human rights laws in wake of terror attacks
My 8-1 bet on a hung parliament is looking half-decent. It's now 7-2 on Hills. It's probably too late though, the papers are going to go full throttle on corbyn for the next day and a half.
He is visiting marginals later today though, hopefully he can pull in the crowds again and swing a couple of seats. I think Labour has a very good chance of reclaiming most of wales, a couple of swings from the snp without tory gains in scotland and the upset could well happen.
Yeah headlines was the wrong word. Meant to say "front pages" like I did the other times, and only election related as this is the election thread. You've missed out the fact that the Times and the Tel are leading on 'I will be a terrorist' re the Italian London Bridge guy. Not having a pop and yep sorry, missed the Indie. You're right though, reporting restrictions kick in on Thursday, so papers have to be very careful on election coverage and this is their last real hurrah.Yeah headlines was the wrong word. Meant to say "front pages" like I did the other times, and only election related as this is the election thread.
Indie is there. Mirror isn't but that is because Neil Henderson didn't share it. Just looked at it and it isn't anything exciting.
Not trying to "prove" anything one way or another with the posts, just that some may be interested in the paper reactions to the debates and now with it being the day before the election it is one of the last opportunities the papers will have to make their case.
just shocked they havn't accused him of kiling Diana yet!Express front page:

I don't think it was the best design decision to have a big picture of Jezza above the words "I'm going to be a terrorist" but hey ho.
Do you actually believe all of this shitty 'meme'? As an apparent Labour supporter, do you agree that the multi-billionaire major Brexit donor Peter Hargreaves deserves a winter fuel payment?![]()
This popped is one of many simlar Memes( or what ever the kids are calling them) on my facebook feed over the past few weeks, they just make me laught, as my elderly relatives are a lot better off then me and are all voting tory....... in fact i don't know anyone over 65 who isn't voting tory!
so while i will not be voting tory, a slogan telling me not to vote tory to help pensioners when most of that demographic are voting tory seems mental to me!
Wonder if the people sharing it can actually explain what the triple lock is, and how downgrading it to a double lock will affect pension increases.![]()
