I do have an IQ problem yes, yes i do, mainly when addressing retards such as yourself. Anyways, your inability to grasp the fact i wasnt addressing you in the key points of this thread have left me feeling suddenly weary, or to put it on terms you'd hopefully understand...

Let us know how replacing Giggs with Scholes because 'he can defend better' works out for you on CM.... :lol: :lol:
 
Dear oh dear my cerebrally challenged friend - Ive checked your posts several times and they do most certainly seem to be on a Giggs vs Scholes trend and as this thread is about Giggs vs Scholes (hence the title!?!) - I am fully entitled to address and disagree with any points you raise......am I not or is this not a forum??? (there is something called a dictionary if you dont know what this word means). Hope your problem clears up.xx
 
Both played in centre midfield differently, and they provide different things for the team.

Giggs has the ability to go past players, hence provide good penetration from the middle. He's also a good tackler. He's shortcoming is that he doesn't have the positional sense of a central midfielder and never ever has the kind of passing range that Scholes have.

Scholes is a poor tackler but on the other hand he is the best passer of the ball in the club. While Giggs can open the defence by running at them, Scholes would do by finding that space to provide the killer pass to the forwards.

Both have weakness that could be balance by having a good holding midfielder beside them.

For me, if all are fit, I prefer Scholes in midfield any day. Mainly because the way he plays the game, is that he's more like to bring others into play.

How can anyone compare Giggs and Scholes in CM. Giggs has played 3-4 games there and been OK. But Scholes was the best CM in PL 3 years ago and still is among the five best.

Big blow that Scholes is out for the rest of the season(its been enough of a blow that hes been missing for nearly 2 months) He was playing quite well for about 7, 8 weeks or so before he last played. Hopefully he'll be okay and be ready for next season.
 
Scholes in the middle giggs on the wing. The defensive midfielder is an obsession for some but now we're back playing 4-4 1-1 not having to protect keane it's not that much of a problem. Get a class midfielder or two and we'll be in good shape. Scholes was playing great before that ****ing injury, typical.

Dont know if youve noticed but we dont have a DM of the calibre of Keano. In fact technically speaking we dont really have a DM at all!!!

i know, i meant during their united careers, not only at the moment...

i'd prefer schoes + DM over Giggs + DM anytime
