Woodward must show his skills and bartering power against Levy i.e throw a shit ton of money.

Kane is our future, I believe it.

and the harry "one-season wonder" kane train keeps rolling
It's funny that people keep saying this but there were feck all Caf members who said he was a one season wonder. Most just said he needs more than one season to prove himself before getting carried away.

Take him and Poch to Old Trafford, we will rock again, its combination of Van Gaal and Rooney which made us look so bad. I think Ali would go as well after a while, how would the manager cost these days though?

watching him run for 9O mins make me thing how much time off would rooney need to recover from a physical contribution like this, let alone scoring goals while at it..

This.

I think it would be hard to get Spurs to accept even a world record fee but we have to do everything in our power to turn his head.

He's THE Galactico (to be) we should have been chasing all this time.

I can see Madrid come knocking end of the season. He has that star quality they like.

11 league goals and 13 in all competitions so far. He's currently on track to match (or even exceed) his 21 league goals from last season, but a little bit behind schedule to match his last season's total of 31 goals in all competitions.

I've lost count of what his total goals tally in calendar year 2015 is so far, but there surely can't be more than a handful of players (if that many) across Europe's top leagues who've scored more.

Bit of a broken record in saying this but even when he wasn't scoring goals earlier in the season he looked lively and dangerous. Not surprised that he's still banging them in and looking like a top striker. FF captain for me as well today :D

not necessarily talking about caf members here, good number of people outside caf were saying that when he went through a goal drought at the beginning of this season.

He sits at 27 if I counted right. As for players who scored more in 2015 you obviously have the two freaks of nature with close to or even above 50 goals, Lewandowski, Neymar and Aubameyang around the 40 goals mark and then Higuain, Müller, Ibra and Suarez above 30. Benzema and Aguero would also be around there if not for injuries and Tevez aswell if he would not have left Europe in the Summer. These stats are obviously for all competitions so some of these players played more games than Kane, but it is all around pretty good company he is in there.

With Aguero spending more time in the hospital than on the pitch Kane might actually be the best striker of the EPL right now and one of the best homegrown players overall.

I thought that 27 sounded a bit low, so I checked around. It seems that the actual figure so far (with 1 game to go) is 32 ... at least according to this:
http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896...1/18573632/kane-next-year-will-be-even-better

50 goals in his last 78 games for club and country.

The real deal. Should definitely go all out for him next season. Having said that, if Spurs manage to get top four then there's no chance.

Think he'll be off to Madrid. The disgraced Benzema will probably be on his way out, and they'll need a striker - and they haven't got a hope of snatching Lewandowski from Munich with time on his contract, Auba also signed a new one with Dortmund and they have some sort of deal with City.

He has an excellent striking technique, generates a lot of power and keeps the ball low. I wonder which club he will eventually go to.

You have to credit his mentality as well. He got through a tough period when the ball wasn't going in the net and criticism was building. Now he's getting the goals to go along with the performances.

I am officially convinced this lad is a top player and we should try to sign him even though it'll be insanely difficult because Levy.

We have no top British wingers/strikers and thats just unacceptable.

Clearly will take new world record fee. Maybe even the first £100m player.

His age, profile and talent, combined with the wealth of the league, all point to it.

People chortled on here when I said that we should buy Kane in the summer, otherwise he would end up costing double the £40-50m that was being talked about then. No, they said, he will still cost the same amount. Looks like others are coming round to my way of thinking (as usual).

Here's a perfect example in reply to me...

Harry Kane

And my response...

Harry Kane

Sometimes I hate that I'm always right :(

Just waiting for someone to dig up one of your old predictions gone wrong.
No doubt there will be one or two, but not many. I predicted the Rooney decline when most were on here were saying that we just needed to bring some quality cover in for him. I was one of very few who thought Mane would be a good signing (others have now jumped on that bandwagon too).

You're pretty amazing tbf.

Mane was a good signing for us alright.

No one is going to pay 100M for Harry Kane.

I didn't think someone would pay £80m for Gareth Bale. Prices have inflated even more since then, and the striker market is probably more limited at the moment than wide players back then.

Are all these stats that Glaston is hitting us with still including U21 goals?
I think he's including the English friendlies instead. Negating all English performances as they're all pretty much dead rubber; Kane has 24 games and 13 goals this season in all club competitions, and 51 games and 31 goals last season.

That equals 75 matches and 44 goals. That's still pretty impressive.

Impressive indeed. I didn't think he had it in him especially in a Spurs attack that isn't that full of quality.
