Nah he was totally checked out in the season he left. He was stinking up quite the fuss too, and Arsenal weren't that bad a side either.

I think at this point it would be a benefit for Spurs if he went, as well as for himself. He dominates their team in the same way Shearer did for Newcastle and it's clear they need a massive restructure of their club and a new era. Sell him while he's still valuable.
Why would Kane agree to move on similar wage, with 1 yr left on his contract? Might as well us not bother with that kind of offer. We pay new kids on the block 200-350k already.
I almost guarantee that (if they're not in FFP trouble), Chelsea will spend 100m to get Kane this Summer. And Kane will definitely get paid more than 200k plus bonuses.

Kane can push all he wants; he's already been shafted by Levy the last time he wanted out, this'll be no different.
He had three years left on his contract then, the situation is a bit different now. The outcome might still be the same though.

I think we will sign Kane for around 80Million and he will be a massive success for 4-5 seasons.

Kane manages to produce the goods in a team that is otherwise terrible. He’s our guy.

If he's a part of the defensive problems he's a very small part.
Which in anycase is offset by the goals he gets them.
If a team can't defend because their CF isn't a marathon runner there's a deeper problem.
I can’t believe people can watch both him and Isak yesterday and feel that Kane’s profile is more what we need.

I'm pretty concerned about his pace, he seems to have gotten even slower these last 2 seasons. I don't have any other concern, he would be a great focal point for us bar the pace. If you also see his goal against Newcastle, it looks like it's in slo-motion 
Kind of agree We should steer clear of Kane he is not the answer many are clearly in denial about this , there are clear signs of his decline he would be like Ibrahimovic at United individually ok but would require lot of allowances to be made for him .

I've been of the opinion that Kane would stay if Spurs qualified for the CL. Now that top 4 is unlikely and with an unknown manager coming in, he'd be mad to stay for another year. That puts us in a strong negotiating position and as others have outlined, we should make a time-sensitive, take-it-or-feck-off offer of 60m. And we should have the balls to walk away if it's rejected.

I actually think there'd be more chance of getting him if Spurs were doing better. Selling Kane after this season would be a nail in the coffin for them.
If I'm honest, I think staying at Spurs is right for him. Despite his goals, his overall play has dropped off this season imo, and he's definitely lost pace which he wasn't overly blessed with to begin with.

The serial loser thing I really don't buy. It wouldn't matter if you put Roy Keane in that Spurs team, they're still gonna be Spurs. That's not on Kane.

What on earth are you on about? He's had a great season on all parametres domestically. 24 goals and 6 assists, and is involved in everything Spurs create. He's been so mature in his decisions and build up play this year. Not sure you've watched Spurs a lot except from maybe their bad games to be honest.
I am not one of those who believes trophies are everything, especially if a player hardly contributes to them.
But in Kane‘s case, does he really want to end his career with zero trophies? If he stays at Spurs he most likely will. And with England he will probably play 1-2 more tournaments as a starter and most likely not win anything either.

We wouldn't - the bonuses would account for more than Tottenham because there is no doubt he will score a lot of goals. It just won't be a base wage as the club have reported.
It is pretty clear that Kane won't push for anything ridiculous. If he wanted that, he would have left Tottenham years ago and would never have signed a new contract with them. He would have earned a lot more with other clubs over the same period.

Sorry to break it to you but this is modern football. The CF is a huge part in defensive shape. I am not asking him to be a marathon runner but Kane does nothing for his team out of possession. It a part of why they are run ragged almost every game at the moment, albeit a small part.
We would have the same complaints here.
Kane is a quality player on the ball but for me he doesn’t scream United striker with his style. It’s a bit lethargic and personally I prefer a more mobile pressing striker in the modern game.
Qatar come in and then yes go for Kane. He can be phased to a squad option in 2 years with no care of the cost and at least he’s a CF to get in short- medium term.

He’s obviously an excellent player. I just don’t think he fits with what we’re trying to do here. And he’d be hugely expensive which would limit what other positions we could strengthen.
Ultimately I trust the manager and whoever he wants is fine with me.
Going for Kane seems logical to me, and he's about to turn 30, which should mean he's entering his prime years (Lewandowki had his best goal-scoring season in 20/21 at the age of 32)

So if Kane stays and the lad from Napoli ends up at Bayern, what happens then? Who’s the backup? A lot of people are talking like Kane is done but I’m not so sure myself.
If I had a penny for everytime I read this. As if the game has somehow changed so much where if a CF isn't a makeshift defender the whole team collapses.
The hyper analysis and tactical over thinking is getting silly if we're now saying Kane is a problem for Spurs.
Perhaps basing it off England performances, and Son's drop off may mean Kane's influence is less obvious but every time I've watched Spurs this season I've felt Kane looks less sharp than he has in recent seasons.,

I’m not really in the mood for Levy’s feckery this summer. It’ll be a stand-off given that everyone knows we need a 9 this summer, and we know they probably have to sell. In the middle of it all will be Ten Hag who just wants a number 9 sorted by pre-season, and not dragging on until the end of the window.
Still, they might decide that whatever they get for him this summer is not worth it and they're better off getting one more season out of him. Like, say, how Dortmund did with Lewandowski ten years ago.
Sure, and the question then becomes how much is one season of Kane worth to Spurs. It’s a terrible decision if they are turning down £75m, as there’s no way he provides that much value to a team in Spurs’ current position.
We also need to bear in mind that Levy likes to be shown to be a good commercial negotiator. The absolute worst case scenario for him is to be made to look like an idiot when Kane walks out for free and (for example) then signs for Arsenal and bangs in 30-40 goals per season for the next 5 years. He will want to sell this summer.
