I can't see it. If he doesn't move this summer he's only 30, can likely get a big signing on fee, and will have his choice of us, Madrid or Munich.
He's going to stay in England for at least the next 3 to 4 seasons in order to break Shearer's all time PL goal record.
He'll get paid more, challenge for trophies, and assuming he's fit, he'll surpass Shearer.
Plus he doesn't have to be official club captain. Can just play his game and let others like Bruno, Casemiro, and Marcus get the spotlight.
All time goal scorer for boyhood club, England Men, and Premier League...that's nice. All while staying along for a medal or two...
