If Bayern is so hopeless as you write and loses 5-0 to everyone, why did the bookies make them as the main favourite to win the Champions League before the start of last season? Did they want to lose money? Don't look at the Bundesliga level! Bayern plays in a completely different league to the rest in Germany. There are 17 clubs + 1 Bayern. They weaken their league rivals every year by buying the best players from them. Something unthinkable in the Premier League (Levy). Even having a disastrous previous season, they won the league (11x in a row). IMO a lot of the credit for that goes to Neuer's injury, without it they would have secured the title a few rounds before the end of the season.
BTW. If you want to run 90 minutes every three days for a measly 20 million a year, send your CV to Munich. If they take you on (why wouldn't?), in a year you'll have more trophies than Kane

Sure, United is the 3rd most popular club in the world. That is not disputed by anyone. However, the difference that the 2 top clubs (Real, Barca) have over United is bigger than United has over the 10th club on the list. Depending on which ranking you come across, there will be Liverpool, Juve, Bayern, City, PSG, Chelsea, etc (random order).
You gave a cool example of Rooney. Are you able to check the number of followers he has on social media vs Beckham? My intuition tells me that the 2nd will have 2x more.
We don't know what Kane's priorities are. If his main goal is to finally win some trophies, his best chances are in: 1. Bayern, 2. Real, 3. Spurs. 4. United. Thats bookies predicted last season. I didn't even realise United's chances were rated so low. Now i'm sure he won't sign with United cuz the chances of trophies are negligible and the bigger money can he earn elsewhere. The final aspect - no desire to leave England (family, kids), then Kane will extend his contract with Spurs.
In England, Kane already has an established brand and significantly his marketing value will not change. In a new market, he is gaining a very large audience at the beginning.
Munich has atleast 2 international schools with main language English that are very good - they are expensive but that should be not problem for Kane. He probably sends his kids to private schools in London, too, that should not be really cheaper.
It takes 2 hours to fly to London with a private plane. That should not be a big handicap either to have family over in Munich - or fly back to London for some time. His wife seems to like to go into skiing holidays in the Alps - just takes an hour to do that from Munich. You actually do not need to learn too much German (it is good when you do) to get around as most people understand English.

He's been heavily criticised by spurs fans for not having the club's best interests in mind with his decisions. Could be he's afraid of making a move that will anger them at this point.

This is an ego trip. The same way it was easy to predict Levy would get fecked off with Bayern over some nothing slight and make them pay or not even do business with them…and then it happened.

It’s all an ego trip. Spurs would be much, much better off selling Kane now and reinvesting the money back in to the squad, than keeping him for another year and losing him on a free next summer. But I suppose there’s always the chance he’ll renew his contract and end his career there.

With Maddison signed I really doubt it. Could be a great combo for Spurs and the new manager.
No energy should be spent on him this summer. He is free next year, and we can offer him a gigantic salary to tempt him.

This is where his brother is supposed to earn his coin. Whatever offer is on the table, his brother should be pointing out it'll be matched or bettered elsewhere, with that signing on fee on top.
I see that the Bundesliga defense force is back in action - would have expected them to take a break after what transpired last season when Dortmund in classic fashion as with all the other non-Bayern clubs in the league couldn’t win the league even when it was gifted to them on a silver platter.

Well, considering he was involved when Kane signed that insanely long contract extension with Tottenham, with no exit strategy apart from trusting Levy to sell, i really wouldn’t expect much from him in terms of «earning his coin». The only thing to expect seems to be bad advice.
