To be fair I'd feel a bit sick giving Kane a 4 year deal on over 500k a week.
Excess of 86m pound, mid 90s is what it looked like. For Bayern. Toss another £20m as the price it would take for Premier league clubs. And 400k per week+ for wages, when amrabat would likely not even hit 100k and Pavard probably something like 150k. 400k per week for 5 years of Kane is 104mil, on top of a 120m fee (plus who knows in agent fees). 224mil for 5 years of Kane ages 30-35.Kane is 100m euros. £86m pound.
Manchester United and Spurs are not rivals. This isn’t a Luis Figo saga.
Spurs cannot just reject our bid and refuse to sell. In reason they can but they won’t.
I don't get that. He's chosen the easy way out. Respect ?This is all that needs to be said
We aren't winning it anyway next season. We aren't there as a team. You don't go from our performance levels last season to beating out this city team over a season. Don't be ridiculous. Kane isn't better than haaland, ten hag isn't better than Pep, Bruno isn't better than de Bruyne. We have to be patient and play the long game here. Develop into a top team and think about the title when we start playing like a team who can actually hit the consistency of city the past 7 years. So would waiting a year and saving £100m be worth the chance to win a PL next season?
Going to be very controversial with this but:
Onana
Pavard* Varane Martinez Shaw
Casemiro
Mount Bruno
Antony Kane Rashford
That could win the league no?

He's gone to join the club that's won their domestic league every season for the last 11. Bayern would win the bundesliga this season without Kane. Englands all time top scorer and one of the best cfs in prem history has never won a trophy in England. That stinks.
Ah, I’m just being facetious but we know enough about Levy to know he won’t be strong armed or do anything other than if it’s in the club’s best interests and he walks away from the deal feeling like he got the upper hand. Kane going to United, much less for a reduced fee like £50m, won’t allow those things to happen. If that was the case then it's not as simple as what you're saying. Levy will have to choose between 100 mill now, maybe 50 in Jan or nothing next summer....
LowerAnd they will stay there for the next 3 years.
It's easier to justify it when they are in an easier league where he'll be fine to score 40+ goals a season to have them walk the title again and focus on the push for the CL, which they were just a CF short from being part of the serious conversation again. They've been a top 3/4 side in Europe for the past 5 years along with Madrid, city and Liverpool before their drop off. One off year after losing their CF doesn't take them out of it. His longevity won't be hurt as much in the Bundesliga as it would in the prem.I am surprised Bayern is doing it
Maybe Evan Ferguson? So, who will Spurs be bringing in to replace Kane?
Hugo Ekitike maybe? Cheeky Neymar attempt? Come to us with a cheeky (loan?) bid for the one who shall not be named? Jonathan David? Other plausible options?

Looks like I'm in the minority. If I was Kane I'd stay.
PL record + Spurs greatest ever player > Bundesliga and a German Cup
Agree, people overrate the intelligence of sports and politicians all the time. There's no 3D chess move here, if he wanted to come to United he'd have been better off making that clear early in the window, similar to Mount. Spurs probably would have still refused a move but a move now makes less sense for Spurs and United.Kane and his brother are not smart enough to play that game.
United are not spending £100m + £500k a week on Kane when we have just signed a £64m striker.
He's going to Bayern for a shot at the CL. Agree Bundesliga is less for him than a PL top scorer ever record. But he'll be at one of the 3 elite clubs in Europe over the past decade. The CL is what his target will be, and it'll be a realistic target, more realistic than anywhere else.Looks like I'm in the minority. If I was Kane I'd stay.

Who do you mean by he? Kane? Why would he do that?
Do you think United is such a big deal nowadays?
Nevil just said what United supporter wanted to hear, thats it.
A shame. Thought we'd snap him up next year on a free.
Don´t see Brighton selling him this summer. They´d surely demand the world for him, and don´t see Levy providing it. I´d expect Jonathan David, or possibly that Gift Orban dude if they want to take an even bigger punt. They will struggle to get in the EL never mind CL places this season either way i think.Maybe Evan Ferguson?
Given he can leave on a free if it were me I’d stay knock another 20+ goals closer to the record and then have the pick of some top sides.Looks like I'm in the minority. If I was Kane I'd stay.

I don’t mean next as in 2023/24 I mean surely it makes more sense to wait until 2024/25 season so sign Kane on the free and save the ~£90m fee.We aren't winning it anyway next season. We aren't there as a team. You don't go from our performance levels last season to beating out this city team over a season. Don't be ridiculous. Could he not come back in a couple of years and try and get the record? No idea how long he will play for but Spurs if they are clever could get some kind of cheap buyback clause for the future.I was listening to Alan Shearer speaking on a podcast about how he'd trade, in a heartbeat, his all-time top scorer record in exchange for winning the Premier League just once with Newcastle.
Granted, winning the Premier League with your local and boyhood club has a different emotional appeal to winning an almost guaranteed Bundesliga with Bayern, but Harry Kane may yet surprise us in his decision and his ambition.
Rasmus is more of a prospect than the finished product, plenty of examples of clubs paying high sums for future return, didn’t city do just that with Jesus for example?Of course but you’re living in cuckoo land if you think we’re spending £180m on 2 strikers when one of them is going to be benched.
No club has ever spent £72m on a player with the intention of him being a sub.
If he goes who does Spurs buy? Hardly any decent strikers on market.
He's never won a trophy, he wouldn't be going to Bayern just for a shot at the CL. The prospect of winning the league there would be exciting too. He's going to Bayern for a shot at the CL. I disagree with that. I think it's predictable, choosing to go to Bayern is the wimpy option. I don't care what people in here say but Harry Kane did not grow up dreaming of winning the Bundesliga, he finally has the chance to push to sign for a team that can compete for the premier league and the major trophies in England but then he won't have the excuse that his team is not good enough anymore, Tottenham have been holding Harry Kane back and he hasn't won a trophy cos his team is shite. If he goes to Bayern he doesn't want the pressure, he's bottled it.Harry wimpy Kane actually moving abroad would be astonishing. Stupid, and astonishing.
