Harry Kane | Bayern Munich player

Yeah sure Kane would choose us over Bayern fecking Munich

We looked quite an attractive proposition in the Summer, with possible new owners and a world class CF being the most obvious gap in the team. I strongly suspect Kane would have preferred that move over relocating to Germany but we obviously weren’t in a position to make it happen.

As it is, we’ve instead gone backwards with poor signings, major injury issues and a lack of a clear style of play. Unless we completely turn things around, we won’t have any hope of signing a player at Kane’s level if a similar situation arises this summer.

The only title "guarantee" in England is offered by City. And they are one of the very few teams, possibly the only one, that does not need Kane. So if he wants to win titles and he can't go to City...

Whats the view from bayern fans? How does he compare to lewa at this stage?

Been good, and could easily have had more goals if Sané and Musiala looked around for a pass instead of trying to dribble past that 3rd or 4th man. But that has also gotten better recently, so hopefully something they've been made aware of.

So how can you say we "looked an attractive proposition" in the summer when we quite clearly could not offer anything near an attractive proposal?
Makes no sense whatsoever. All the "possible new owners" meant and are continuing to mean is the club being in limbo and not able or willing to invest.

He would have been rubbish here. We would have given him zero service. We have no style, no build up from the back, no control in the midfield, no wingers providing service. Kane, Haaland, Lewandowski, they'd all struggle here. I'd love a manager to just impose a semblance of attacking philosophy and cohesion then I'd have a bit of faith in any striker.

This. He'd have scored 25 tops while being starved of service and at best it would have carried us to a fourth place finish and papered over the cracks.

Kane to Bayern was the perfect transfer for both teams. New manager for Spurs and a chance to move on, Kane is quite a play dominant player and was going to leave next year for free anyway. So he would have got in the way of the new era hanging around. Meanwhile Bayern had a very good team that needed a finishing touch since they sold Lewandowski and there are very few strikers around the world of that quality. Given Kane is also hungry for trophies it’s rare for a player his age, so I expect him to be quality for a few years yet.

Probably the best striker in the world. I think he's just edging it over Haaland now.

Definitely the best striker in the world and has been for a while.

The fact that he scored only 6 less goals then Haaland last year despite playing for an absolutely garbage Spurs side was a minor miracle.

To be honest until a few weeks ago, i rated him as a very good striker but clearly a level below Lewandowski or Benzema of the last few years.
I didnt watch many Tottenham games in the last years and whenever i watched Kane for England he didnt really impress me that much.

But after only a few weeks with us he has totally won me over.
He is certainly not the fastest sprinter around (but most strikers would look a little slow between Sané and Coman) but apart from that he is basically THE complete striker.
He has very good finishing with both feet and his head, good runs and positioning, a great mentality and the vision and passing skills of a great no. 10. Not only does he have these abilities to let others shine, he also uses really often even in situations where he could try to score himself. He is a true team player.
After 9 Bundesliga games he did not only score 12 goals but also already has 5 assists.

Additionally he seems like a really great guy. Absolutely down to earth, very charismatic, totally open to everything new and even some strange german or bavarian habits he was already introduced to.

Sorry Harry for doubting you, i already love you.

He hit what, 30 goals in that rubbish Conte team? For me that is a bigger achievement than scoring 36 in that City team.

Shudder to think how many goals Kane would get in that City team... plus he'd also contribute well into double figures worth of assists quite easily.

Really cool to see him start to get the recognition he deserves.. A record breaking season was always on the cards after bagging 30 league goals for that terroristball side last season.

It sucks balls that he has to go to Bayern and have an easy run at trophies to get the credit he deserves. It is like the dumbass American "Rings argument" You don't like superteams? Stop shitting on players who don't take the easy route then.

Great player.

Could you imagine his goal tally if he’d been at City and not Spurs

Top striker who should have left Spurs 2-3 years ago.

Best striker in the world and maybe one of the most underrated players last 15 years because of his empty trophy cabinet.

There’s another player in the same league playing for a lesser said who has a better goal per game ratio with less penalties too.

You watch Haaland at the end of easy chances or even go 1v1 and you just never feel the same kind of confidence like you do when you see Kane at the end of them. I had no doubt that he'd not score the 2nd and 3rd goals.

Has so much more to his game and just as clinical. A world class player. The biggest player we have missed out on in post Fergie era who we realistically could've gotten at various stages.
I find Kane a lot more clinical actually. Haaland scores a ton of goals because of how much City create but he seems to miss a fair number of sitters on a regular basis.

That's true, not arsed to look up the stats but I bet Kane got his 30 last season from far less shots/XG than Haalands 36
Yep, I'm not sure if the stats and xG etc will back me up on it but just watching the two of them play, Kane just seems so much calmer and clinical with his chances.

Might break Lewandowski's record too, in a single season.

Sure would say something about the league.

To be fair, he scored 30 for that Spurs team. He is now playing in a much much better team so him scoring another 10 on that 30 isnt out of the ordinary.

Why are people acting surprised? Kane has been incredible with his scoring feats and he's been doing it for Tottenham fecking Hotspur year-in, year-out. Spurs!
