There was one person who said that people who don't want to shag a trans person are transphobes, not "some people". On the other hand, there were some pretty shitty attitudes toward trans people on display in that thread. Claiming 99,9% of straight men wouldn't be interested in a transwoman, calling being attracted to transwoman a fetish, the constant focus on the fact that they were born male/female, people saying they'd be repulsed if they found found out a woman they'd slept with was trans.
But yeah, that one guy calling you a transphobe was the real issue, not the prevailing shitty attitude towards trans people.
Well, seeing as how that moron was you, I'd be fecking surprised if you didn't. It isn't, though, and you thinking that it is isn't going to change that. It does a great job of displaying just how narrow-minded you are.

You were the one who came in here to make a false claim about "some people" calling you a transphobe, and you deserved to be called out for it.
For me if you bang a transexual fine, but if you go out on a mission to nail one or any other specific group, then yeah that probably is a fetish.

The reason I’m calling you a transphobe now is because you believe the only way someone could ever be with a transsexual person is if they had a fetish. That’s transphobic. I’m not saying you’d have to be willing to love a transsexual, but the fact that you can’t understand that others can, without needing a ‘fetish’, does make you a transphobe.

So you maintain that there's no way a straight man could be attracted to a trans woman without having a fetish? Because that's the one thing you said that I most object to. No, not all straight men would be interested in a trans woman, and yes, some straight men have a trans fetish. That does not mean that all straight men who are attracted to trans women have a fetish for them. What you're saying, in essence, is that no straight man could ever be interested in a trans woman as a woman, and if you can't see why that's offensive, then I don't know.
As for the rest, I think your incredibly heavy focus on them having been male, and your general language when talking about trans people is harsh. I don't think you were trying to be malicious, though.
Doesn't validate your claim, I'm afraid. First of all, he called you one after you made said claim. Secondly, there's no indication here that he's basing it solely on you saying you didn't want't to shag a trans woman. It's still only @Alex99 who's implied that.

I called him a transphobe because he repeatedly revealed himself to be a transphobe. He doesn't view trans-women as women (and I assume trans-men as men), so he's a transphobe.

To be honest, it's unclear from the quote whether the punters were complaining about the flag or the food. I do think claiming someone else's toast for your country is going a bit far.
