Hull City vs. Manchester United

Rooney and Welbeck's link up play is so natural.

i hope this is going to be the case, if rafa is going to be out for a while again.

i hope moyes is not dumb enough to break smalling-evans partnership at the back and jones has been arguably our best performer in midfield in the absence of carrick.

2-0 down and we are hunting for goals, i can understand valencia moving to RB and bring on januzaj. next game, if rafa is out, then i want to see fabio there.

I want to see Fabio there too. But for our defensive partnership, I think Jones and Evans have been our best this season to be honest. With Carrick and Fletcher back there may not be too much need to push Jones up there unless we need the extra man

Hull is by far the shittiest place I've been to in England. For that reason I hope we absolutely stuff them in the second half.

Really? There's loads worse. Try Manchester :D.

Seriously though, Hull has always seemed a decent enough place whenever I've been.

I'd like it more him behind Rooney with Welbeck on the left.
Welbeck is terrible on the left, kagawa can at least be pretty good there. Definitely kagawa for young is the thing to do though, it just remains to be seen how long it'll take moyes to do that.

Great comeback but Evans really is subpar. I don't get why people don't see that he makes at least one major mistake a game, even against weak competition. He never looks confident and has no leadership qualities whatsoever. I think he is a decent squad player but to use him consecutively over a few matches at a time is asking for it.

Nah mate. It's the official line up. It's never wrong. Moyes is da best.

What the feck did Young and Valencia do wrong there? We could start by blaming the appalling defending early on.

fecking hell some of you know who you think will have a good game before it even starts

Aside from a crazy start which coincided with a corner that wasn't, we've played reasonably well. It's half time and effectively 0-0 so come on!

I'm praying Rafa gets back soon though, he's getting injured too often again for my liking.

Just wound down a tad there, half time rest then turn up the intensity again please lads.

Awful. Absolutely wrong on so many levels.

In control after we made it level. Worrying defending though, we could easily leak a couple more.

Very good recovery but we have to win this now. Young should probably be next off.

We have 3 games in six days. We have to rotate the squad and Young has scored 2 in the last 2 and Januzaj has already come on.

We are not going to make knee jerk changes with the game at 2-2 after the start to the game.

Daft to criticise this team with the fixture congestion. Balance between rotation and keeping the nucleus of the team is good.

Young should probably go off at ht for doing bugger all in the first half but it would shatter his confidence that's only recently got a lift.

Very happy with our response after the first 15. The Rafael injury was actually good for us. Januzaj's addition has been crucial.
I feel like any substitution would shatter his confidence. He really is a fragile person.

Welbeck is doing very well in the model though so I wouldn't disturb his and Rooneys partnership. Nothing to lose with bringing Kagawa on,

Only a moron would complain about today's lineup considering our injury situation.

Fletcher's playing really well considering. He's always making himself available and linking up the play, works well with Cleverley.

Welbeck has been great dropping deep and linking along with Rooney.

Very bad start to the half, but we responded well and drew level quickly. Though we really should have pushed straight on for a third. Feels like we have taken the foot off a bit to try and control the game and let hull regroup. Would have liked us to just keep going all out for a little bit longer as we were well on top for a short period.

We need to drive forward and win this one, definitely doable. While at the same time not losing our heads at the back.

Shit post.

I think with wingers it's more about what you do right, i.e. create something, which neither did. Fair enough Valencia was pushed to right back but Januzaj was far more threatening than either, as usual.

Exactly. Valencia's linked up well down the right and Young has done OK on the left. Both working very hard and bringing other players into play. Both have played in a mix of good balls and crap ones.

The Young witchhunt is one of the worst I've ever seen on here.

They'd be complaining just as much if we didn't rotate, like at the start of the season when Moyes had a pretty consistent line-up.

He's good but the caf really overrates him. He isn't top class, nor is he our best defender, nor do I see him ever getting on rio's or Vidic's level. He's our best after Vidic though.

I honestly cannot recall anything good from Young out there, that's not me on a witch-hunt, I just can't. Maybe somebody can enlighten me when the game's over.

I still don't fully trust our defending today. They look like there's another mistake in them.

But our response to that dodgy start has been great. We need to play with that same desire from the second half onwards and we'll get in front. Get Rooney involved as much as possible. Any inspiration is likely to come from him at the moment.

Bloody hell, completely forgot this was an early kick-off!

I know we've come back from 2 goals behind, so are we confident that we can finish the job in the second half?

I vomited in my mouth a little.

Nothing daft about it. You can agree with the line up if you want or hold no opinion if you want but it's daft to say it's daft to disagree with something.

Also I never said starting Valencia or young us wrong. All I was saying was that one the finally gifted wide player must start. It can be Valencia Nani, young Nani, young Januzaj, whatver. But I'd always go with one of Kagawa, Nani or Januzaj. And haven't we looked a million times better with Januzaj on the right? It's a preference of mine but there's logic to it as well.

Yeah he's been okay. The Nani and Kagawa brigade are the most annoying bunch on the Caf.
