Ibrahimovic's replacement for whenever he leaves? Could also be strikers we usually don't talk about

So I was trying to find out what other strikers are out there besides the ones we always talk about. Since I don't like the ones that seem to be available (at least the ones we usually talk about) and tried to think about players I've seen for even a short period and looked at their highlights. If anyone's followed these players on a regular basis I'd appreciate it if you could write it down.

Lukasz Teodorczyk - Anderlecht
Born: Jun 1991
Nationality: Poland
Height: 1,85m
Weight: 76kg

Looks like a really good striker, quite similar to Ibrahimovic actually.

Guido Carillo - Monaco
Born: May 1991
Nationality: Argentina/Italy
Height: 1,91m
Weight: 86kg

Uses his head a lot and seems to be at the right place a lot, a bit like Cavani in that area.

Nicolai Jorgensen - Feyenoord
Born: Jan 1991
Nationality: Denmark
Height: 1,90m
Weight: 83 kg

Bit more lightweight, but he used to be a winger and he's a striker now. His style of play looks like Ibrahimovic's

Willian José - Real Sociedad
Born: Nov 1991
Nationality: Brazil
Height: 1,86m
Weight: 81kg

Seems to be a strong striker with good 'feet' and movement.

So these are the players I'm interested about learning more about. My comments are just the impression I got from watching them - but I haven't watched much of their games, I don't think I've even seen these players in a full match and then there's these highlights. That's why I'd like to hear more about them. How good are they and would they be ready to play for Manchester United in 1 or 2 seasons time? Or aren't these players good enough. If so, who do you think would be interesting? It should be players we usually don't mention. So no André Silva or Kasper Dolberg.

There's a reason they haven't been mentioned yet, because we aren't linked with them. ;)

Have we ever been linked with Dybala?

Lukaku Lukaku Lukaku.

We need to splash the cash for him. But personally I'm hoping Ibra stays for another season. So if that happens, Chelsea will probably get him sadly....

Wouldn't have him. He said something along the lines of "Pogba leaving Juve for United was a big mistake. Look where they are in the table"

We need players who WANT to play for United. I think Lukaku would love to play alongside Pogba. They would be brilliant together.

Yes I know, was more meaning us mentioning players, not reporters. Changed the title, hopefull it's better this way. :)

Gotcha. We generally stick to players we have been linked with by decent papers here.

Can we move this thread? Or should I start a new one? I've still not learned where to post the correct thread. I feel stupid...

Its fine here for now. Just try to limit future threads to actual players we have been linked with or other clubs that have been linked with players.

Ok, so if I want to a thread similar to this where I want to talk about interesting players. Do I post it in the 'Football Forum' or isn't it allowed? Want to be sure.

@RedMaestro Łukasz Teodorczyk is not and never will be a EPL striker (qulaity-wise) let alone a good fit for United. He mises shit loads of chances.
Ibra misses a lot as well and he's still PL quality? :)
Doesn't he have the potential to improve? Is this the best he can be? If that's the case then, yes, he's not that interesting.

Yes, footy forum for various players. Transfer forum for players that have actual articles or tweets linking us to them.

I better write this down to avoid future mistakes. Thanks for the help and hopefully this will be the last time I create a thread in the wrong place. Don't think I'll dare to create one in the near future, maybe I should ask what I want to create and someone can tell me where to post it. :)

He's nearly 26 and was not good enough to hold a regular starting spot at Dynamo Kyiv (admittedly it was largely due to them being inept), he could probably make a good back up in Premier League for some team but will not be good enough to become a regular player at United. If we want a Polish striker, we could probably go for Milik who is almost 3 years younger and was a hit at Ajax and now Napoli. He'd cost a bomb though.

Ok, thank you for the info, but I'll still be interested to see him play in the Europa League next week, that is if he can play. I'm not that impressed with Milik. Then again I've only seen him play about 5 times.

Or a cold windy night in.............
Many strikers play up top on their own and they are not all big Duncan Ferguson types
I wasn't implying anything, I was really trying to get a real answer. How does he move, how's his hold up and link up, first touch etc. Or whatever his strengths are.

Let's go all out: Suarez!
He'd actually be perfect and evidently good enough for any club. And works well in the PL. Not sure if he'd ever leave Spain. Probably never really liked the climate and he also had all of those incidents earlier which the media will constantly talk about if he returns. So it's probably impossible. Think there's a bigger chance to get Lewandowski, but even he's close to impossible to get.

The only one of the "big names" that is available is Aubameyang, but he wants to play for Real Madrid. Would probably even 'settle' for PSG.

How did Lukaku do last night?

Not being dismissive - I genuinely didn't see the game - but you always hear how he disappears in the big-games, and is a flat-track bully. Not a bad thing necessarily, as we need someone who can score goals against the likes of West Brom, Stoke and Bournemouth...

He was isolated. Had a couple of bad touches. Was selfish a few times and made a couple of bad decisions. He had one good chance where he 'ran away from Rojo and missed a pretty good chance. Ashley Williams wasn't pleased with Lukaku's hold up play - he was right, it wasn't that good, the ball came back quickly. Which lead to Romelu later doing this:

I like the effort, but no thanks. If Ibrahimovic leaves, we need to replace him with someone proven in the better leagues. It has to be either Belotti, Icardi, Aubameyang, Lacazette, Mertens, Lukaku or Andre Silva. I'd prefer Andre Silva, Belotti and Lacazette to the others.

Mertens is crap and is not a striker. In Holland he played on the wings for PSV. He is an idiot

Ibra stays, Rashford gets the spot a year after with consistent runs off the bench and starting cup games next season to improve finishing.

Lukaku, Belotti, Icardi... my guess is it'll be one of those. Rashford isnt a Mourinho type striker and I'm not sure if he really has it in him to become the type to lead the line on his own for a Mourinho team (or a top team for that matter).

Can't say, I'd want him with us either. Just mentioned him because he's been linked to us and has had a fine season so far.

Teodorczyk is not good enough, plus got some attitude problems as far as I'm concerned. He's a bit of a dick.

He is the type of player that literally does nothing all game but somehow scores his goals. Also completley goes missing in the big games versus decent defences.

This with Rashford getting 50% prem starts too - he needs a lot more practice right now
