If Ole is sacked tomorrow...

he’s the most gettable one. I don’t think our players will run for him. Rashford and Martial are two of the worst pressers out there, Pogba was the actual worst... we don’t have the team for it yet and I don’t know if I can stomach yet another rebuild. I think let ole finish the team off with an actual right winger and a top centre forward and let him away with it, until then he’s just been papering over cracks.

Hasenhüttl would get rid of anyone that wouldn't run. Which makes him an interesting option. He wouldn't feck around.

Ragnick as a caretaker and sporting director after the appointment of Nagelsmann or Rose would be brilliant business.

This. I was literally typing this out until I looked up and saw it.

Rangnick for the rest of the season, move to DoF/sporting director in the summer, then hire Nagelsmann or Rose.

I'd be really surprised if OGS got sacked before the City game though. He'll get to that game and after that who knows.

Ole won't be sacked until we're out of Europe altogether. Covid and the strange standings in the PL has given him a free pass until next summer. This squad though. Really grinds my gears.

Yeah don't see a repeat of a pre xmas sacking like we saw in 2018

Only one Mann for the job. If we don’t get him in the next couple of years he’ll be at the Vermin after Klopp.

I really don't like managers like Naglesman, he seems like an idealist that would not be interested in actually building with a club. Poch displayed both loyalty and squad building capabilities at spurs. We don't want another AVB

He won't be. Possibly Sunday/Monday if city give us a hiding.

But knowing Ole he flukes a result or draw in that game.

We may be crap but he wins when his job is in the line and loses most important games where it's not.

Christ I thought I'd never have to see Jimmy fecking Lumsden again

I would like us to hire one of these up and coming managers who play high pressing, attacking football. However, is there much point in doing so mid season? If our squad isn't made up of players who fit that style. Wouldn't it be better to hire them early doors in the summer, get them a full transfer window and pre-season to implement their ideas.

He won't be sacked until the summer I fear. We can dream of a scenario like that though.

<sarcasm>
Obviously it should be a former player who understands the culture of the club and what it means to play the “Man Utd way”, only then will our true potential be fulfilled
</sarcasm>

He shouldn't need a penny, let alone that much. People are adamant our problems are all coaching related.
So he is gonna change McTom, Lindelof, AWB, Shaw, Maguire from being midtable players to World class players?

Someone who is tactically clued on to the current game.

Someone young who can handle personalities and relate and manage our young squad and who isn't afraid of making cut throat decisions.

Or we petition and cry for Sir Alex to come back and rally around his house everyday

All these managers need major backing. Its all well and good buidling a team in Germany but in the PL you need major investment. None of these young mangers will come here IMO.

Poch is the only option as nobody seems to want him.

I've done so for a while now but it'll stay a pipe dream getting Ragnick and Nagelsmann - makes too much sense.

Woodward will keep playing FM to appease his ego and appoint Pochettino once our season and top4 hopes are shattered.

The only thing holding those players back is Ole and his decisions.

According to the Cafe if you need 11 world class players you're a shit manager anyway.
You need good players, not players that would be fighting to start for clubs like West Ham. Leicester and Palace doesn't seems to miss the players we brought from. Both most overrated UK players at the moment.

I think Giggs got it right that we likely wont be successful for another 20 years. The whole club needs a complete clean slate.

It should have been Blanc when Ole got it due to his managerial record.
Now you either go all out for Nagelsmann, offer him the World to take over during winter break, or you take a chance on Poch.
Ya Blanc has really pushed on since been overlooked for the job

Every new manager apart from Moyes got baked in his first season here

If Ole is sacked before or by mid season his replacement will be Poch. You can guarantee that.

If he's sacked later on when top four is mathematically impossible and we just get a caretaker in until the end of the season, probably not going to be Poch.

Leicester aren’t missing Chilwell either, so he must be shite.

Leipzig not missing, Werner... shite.

fun game this.

Moyes and the band looks like a country lottery ticket winner.

No one filled a ball bag like our Jimmy.

I'll never forget sitting in the Stretford end, watching him in the passing drills with the starting 11 against Newcastle.

I remember turning to my mate and saying "We're absolutely fecked".

 What was the score?
