I'm sick of long balls and crosses

This myth that "Perisic was our target for right wing" should die and fast. He isn't a right winger. Jose wanted him because of his performance as Left winger. This is one more curious case of "Why can't Manutd just buy Right wingers instead of playing players out of position".
Exactly. If Perisic is two footed then so is Sanchez but we didn't see him at RW.

Tbf Perisic is one of the very genuine two footed player, he is very strong with both. Still that doesn't make him right winger though. It's again just people arguing for the sake of it based on assumptions. Even when Jose talked about Perisic, he never said about right wing or attacking position, he said he wanted 4th signing to play as wing back, which is even funny though.

Sanchez has played so much of his career as right winger but he still plays as left winger for us, but somehow Perisic would have magically played as right winger.

I don't believe our players are that shit at crossing, I genuinely think it's the system. Our players look clueless as to where to cross, and our forwards don't know where to be to receive those crosses. Are we going near post? Back post? Drilled? Floated? Into space? At feet? Cutting back? If the cross doesn't find its way, who is designated to pick up the second balls in each of these scenarios. The only semblence of a plan is when Fellaini is on pitch, and that's why Mourinho loves him so much.

You could get in Beckham into this team, and we still wouldn't find headers from free kicks or corners, because no one has an idea where to ping these crosses or where to be to receive them. It's too random.

So am I. Our reaction to high press is to go back to keeper or go long which is pathetic specially with Lukaku who fails to control it upfront 8out of 10 times.

I wouldn't really mind the odd punt up to Lukaku when under pressure if he could control it, hold it and pass it to runners but he can't control it, he can't hold it and we don't have runners anyway so it's completely pointless and a sure fire way of conceding possession.
We looked far more threatening when he was out of the side. It seems when Lukaku is playing, he's seen as an easy outlet but his game isn't good enough for that style of play.

I seriousky dislike Young as a player nowadays. Way too much goes through him, and he always ends up whipping in an unsuccesful cross.

You are the one letting your love for the manager blind you from truth and stop your critical thinking.

How do you state it like a fact that Woodward flat out refused to buy a RW? May be Mournhos infamous lists didn't have a RW. The only RW we actually targetted was Willian IIRC. Rebic was obviously a bullshit rumor probably spread by his agent. And again I don't think we were ever linked with Mane under LvG, he left to Liverpool to no competition. Perisic is a LW and signing him probably meant Martial going the other way which would have been catastrophic. We did sign a player who played at RW quite well but Mourinho didn't play him there and whose fault is that? Did Woodward prevent Mourinho from playing Sanchez there?
Mourinho is actually on record saying we were not buying another offensive player during the coming summer after the Sanchez-transfer. The feelers I am sure we had out last summer was most likely in the event that Martial would leave.
When he didnt, we were never buying another RW/LW or anykind of forward. These made-up narratives about Ed and the club are so tiresome.

Exactly. Mourinho made it out like Sanchez was the missing piece in our attack puzzle. Now that Sanchez transfer has gone to shit, Mourinho fanboys are making it as if Woodward forced Mourinho into buying Sancehz and denied all other transfer requests.

Er... I don’t think both clubs would want to sell their best defenders, and both players would want to come...

Er.....you obviously know nothing about Godins contract situation.

Varane would cost a lot but I think he could be tempted.
