People might laugh at me here but If I was United, he wouldn't be a top choice but I'd definitely have Shane Duffy on our list of centre-backs to buy. Honestly he heads away everything and is exceptional at getting blocks in and just being in the right place at the right time time and time again.

If he was English, he'd be starting for England right now

He'll be 28 in the middle of next season,that automatically rules him out on here.
 
That feels nice after Norways late goal against us last time around :). Feels like we should qualify pretty easily now. Although you never know in football.

How much is Matic missed in Serbia? Certainly more than here when he is out.
 
I am positive for the future but that sucked. At least Ødegaard shined tonight. Great performance and great goal. I would like to see the stats for him tonight. Created shitloads and clearly motm. Should have been 3-2 with the disallowed goal though. We'll get better and maybe next year Haaland will shine in Salzburg and we will have a goalgetter to put all the chances Ødegaard creates.

When was the last time Lewandowski actually had a good run of form for Poland? I know his club form and status makes him undroppable but I dunno it's not like your back up strikers are useless.

:lol: I don’t get one right. Yesterday was saying to @Peyroteo we would finish ahead of Ukraine and behind Serbia. 24 Hours later exactly the opposite. Credit to Sheva. Already a bit of tension for that game when we go to Belgrade. Might be good for us.

Delaney claimed that trying to break down the Irish team was like attempting to "open a can of beans using your hands".

The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has once again emphasised Denmark's frustration when faced with defensive Irish tactics.

"We struggle with their tactics when they defend deeply and then one good cross against us could be all they need," said Delaney.

"When I saw that we got Ireland again, I said 'oh no, not them again'. They're the most annoying opponent."

"We've room for improvement. We don't like playing Ireland. They don't play flowing football but they're skilled at what they do and that makes it a struggle," added Delaney.

"But it's also easy to sit and defend a 0-0. That's just maintaining the status quo so it'll take something different for Ireland to score."

Croatia aren't at full strength, Rakitic and Rebic not available but would still expect them to win on home turf.

Giggs gone defensive, dropped David Brooks and has Harry Wilson just off Bale today.
