I bet they’re kicking themselves now. It’s funny because people at our club have noticed his talent since he was a little kid.What’s particularly impressive is the position at which he is shining so early. It tends to surprise me less if I see a predominantly attacking player do it, because often they have less responsibility, and you mostly notice the good things. The consistency and mental strength to carry out what Mainoo does at that level, where your slightest mistake could lead to a break on goal … that’s just ultra impressive.
