Israel - Palestine Discussion | Post Respectfully | Discuss more, tweet less

Just thinking of that perfectly intact Mein Kampf book that Israel officials pulled from their ass…err, I mean ‘rubble’…it’s genuinely baffling to me the calibre of lies that official Israel accounts are propagating on twitter. Like, legit stuff that my soon to be 5 year old nephew would try and pull over on my sister when he is caught being naughty or doing something he shouldn’t etc.
I'm surprised they didn't add that it had been signed by the führer himself.

How Hamas deterred Netanyahu

When the history of Israel’s policy toward Hamas is investigated, one question will loom large: why did Israel allow Hamas, an implacable enemy, to grow alongside its jugular?

Main reason? Hmm?

Debatable, but undoubtedly a large reason. Much of the Arab world is scared of Muslim extremism and terrorism and they also really don't want to make millions of Palastinians directly their problem, thus the borders locked for decades. Not that that that justifies Isarael's behaviour in general.
You are insinuating that much of arab's world are ok with the Palestinians being murdered everyday because they do not want them to be their problem. This does not sound good.

So did they burn a house and didn't know the baby was inside or they just burned a baby alive knowingly?
They knew people were inside and it was intentionally firebombed.

There was a whole family inside - parents and 2 kids. Everyone died apart from the other kid who had some significant scarring. The settlers then chanted at the sentencing something along the lines of 'we put Ali on the grill' (the baby's name was Ali).

Hussein Dawabsheh, the grandfather, was taunted by Jewish settlers outside the court proceedings who were supportive of the defendant. They chanted in Arabic "Where's Ali? There's no Ali. Ali is burned. On the fire. Ali is on the grill" and "Where is Ali? Where is Riham? Where is Saad? It's too bad Ahmed didn't burn as well." Police and court officials present did not interfere. Israeli Arab parliamentarian Ahmad Tibi put up as video capturing the incident.

This is certainly the case for Egypt and Jordan (the former being the middle east's most populous nation). Sisi doesn't want to deal with infusing Palestinians into his population after having gained power by overthrowing a Muslim Brotherhood guy. Jordan is already about 50% Palestinian, so the King won't want to risk destabilizing himself by adding more.

fecking hell.

Imagine being the doctor or medical staff there having to see this unfold in real time. Absolutely heartbreaking. And then having to find the parent (if they're still alive) and convey this.

Having to have basic life necessities at the whim of an enemy that sees you less than human, has you living in an open air prison for decades, where you can't promise any hope for the future to your kids because you're at the mercy of this fascist brutal regime.

It's just horrible. Any one that supports this shite is culpable.

Question , Is it a war crime to bomb or attack a hospital if that hospital is also being used as a Millitary base?

So devastatingly tragic.

What do you think his child will feel as he grows up? Father and grandfather murdered for no fault of their own and now likely displaced and inevitably living in a refugee camp in a land his immediate family have called home for generations. Are we at all surprised if he's filled with nothing but vengeful hate for the Israelis, and would be seen as a perceptive recruit for the likes of Hamas?

A soldier stood in front of a tank, is waving a flag promoting something vehmently opposed by people they are conquering and killing, and i'm the problem.
Odd how some Muslims have an issue with this but not say, some of the more grim stuff in the Quaran.

It's a vicious circle. This is how extremism thrive, its not a surprise that Rabin was in their way and he had to go because he showed room for peace with the Palestinians. Labour party leader Merav Michaeli accused both Netanyahu and Bin Gvir of being complicit in the assassination of Rabin.

Ben Gvir, the rising star of the current election campaign, whose Religious Zionism party is seen heading for some 14 seats in the 120-member Knesset, first captured national attention when he was filmed as a teen boasting about stealing an emblem from Rabin’s car a short time before the assassination.
“We got to his car, and we’ll get to him, too,” he told a reporter at the time in televised comments.

Check this one too. She deleted the post when she discovered that this is just a calendar after many thousands laughed at her.

Only seen a few clips but imagine piers Morgan interview with Corbyn tonight might make a few headlines tomorrow, mostly in the daily mail I guess.

Ok with it is a relative term. They don't want an influx of Palestinians though and they have resisted this for a long long time.

This is a completely different issue actually and its cost in terms of money is far from being the main problem.

It is not a completely different issue, just not the only issue that interacts in the region.

I don't think her translation is accurate. (purely isn't the only sense here). In Swedish I could use a similar adjective ("rent") to say "exclusively". That's how I understand the sentence she is quoting here... "Das sind doch keine reinen Deutschen" should be understood as "They're not solely Germans".

It will be hard for any objective non-gaslit observer to continue deny this stuff once it’s proven house to house each day.

Off course they are going to find tunnels, where else they are hiding? But are we going to believe everything The Israeli state show us? They just faked a document on their official twitter account and got caught.

If you look at this thread maybe it wont be that hard.
