As I said, interesting.Because i care about the children caught up in this horrendous conflict. Why should children have to go through this? They arent adults, they are innocent children.

if your trying to allude something then just say it.As I said, interesting.
Ah hang on, Buster said that Palestinians lived in peace, which is understandably offensive to the people who hold the view they an opprssed people who live in what is an apartheid state at the very best. Which is a lot of people, to varying degrees. You are going to get a degree of pushback in most rooms you say that in. When you make declarations like that on any contentious issue there will be push back.
Good stuff never be.Personal attacks don't really bother me, much to the annoyance of some. Fortunately, I am pretty thick-skinned.
It would be so easy to follow like sheep. But I am not afraid of saying what I believe in.
It is also offensive to the people who do not believe this is the case. There's push back and then there's the drivel I've seen time and time again in this thread. Is my post measured enough for you? Hope that it is.Ah hang on, Buster said that Palestinians lived in peace, which is understandably offensive to the people who hold the view they an opprssed people who live in what is an apartheid state at the very best. Somehow if the roles were reversed, I'd surmise we'd see the grandmother in your post.if your trying to allude something then just say it.

This was covered last night. Fair to say, the majority of evidence since, as presented by impartial observers, casts major doubt on the Hamas version of events. And I'm putting it mildly.
Whan Hamas hides behind civilian infrastructure (which is well documented for years now), how do you target Hamas and guarantee no civilian casualties? It's basically saying that Israel is hamstrung becaues of Hamas' decision to use human shields.
Good stuff never be.

If you are going to quote me, then it might be a good idea to quote correctly, which you have failed to do.
Because by your misquote, it is clearly evident that you have lost the argument.
thats utter crap. if the other tweet had a shellshocked isarel child being comforted by a doctor and the child then bursts into tears my reaction would be the same.Somehow if the roles were reversed, I'd surmise we'd see the grandmother in your post.
Ofcourse it's sackable. It's a clearly bigotted question saying that her family might have known about a terrorist attack just because they live in Gaza. Would he ask an Israeli if they knew about an attack on Gaza just because they live in Israel? Hell no.
Righto. Same could be said about you.thats utter crap. if the other tweet had a shellshocked isarel child being comforted by a doctor and the child then bursts into tears my reaction would be the same.
Ive had a quick look at your post history and it tells me everything i need to know about you
As usual, just like the sun rising in the east. You can only conclude that the US is quite happy to see the genocide carried out to completion.
The idea of human shields is nonsensical. Designed to degrade actual human beings into prop that can easily be disregarded. It's disgusting.
Take for instance, if I said the IDF hides behind Israeli citizens and uses them as human shields. Most Israeli adults serve in the IDF at one point. Hamas were attacking them to free their land from imprisonment and civilians died because they were used as human shields. See how egregious that is?
But because Israel repeats it so much r.e. the Palestinians, and they have political sway with western countries and western media, it gets repeated so much here that people actually accept the line of Palestinians being human shields. It's ridiculous.
Well, if there had been a rumour on any street in the world, it would have been in Gaza and not in Tel Aviv or London. I'm sure there wasn't, of course.
Why? Because everyone in Gaza are Hamas supporters?
No, because it's more likely that such a rumour would circulate close to the place the operation started in.
While that may be statistically true it was an outrageous and reductive question to ask. But you know that.
I didn't know we were having an argument Buster. At worst we disagree on the Palestinian quality of life, but that's OK, I trust my plentiful sources.
It's hardly outrageous.
Well, if there had been a rumour on any street in the world, it would have been in Gaza and not in Tel Aviv or London. I'm sure there wasn't, of course.
Ok. I was using the word argument in a broad sense. Discussion may have been a better word.
As you rightly say, it is ok to disagree.
It was not my intention to trivialise the plight of the many Palestinians living in Gaza.
If we go back to the post I was responding to, where I used the word Peace, I was trying (badly) to point out that the events of the last week or so when the IDF were heavily bombing targets in Gaza don't happen all the time. And despite the difficult conditions they live under, in the main, they get on with their lives.
I know all of that. While I do hesitate to draw lines in time I didn't take issue.
Weeks don't measure time for the oppressed, trauma can take years and even generations to recede.
Again I didn't take huge issue, I was was just explaining why people did.
People are offended at the Palestinian living conditions being described poorly? You don't believe they are? Is it you that is offended by the assertion they live in awful conditions and circumstances?
Why?
And if you find a post, drivel as you say, point it out, don't have a mini tantrum into the ether.
The UN and Amnesty also described the living conditions of the Palestinians as poor and describe fear and intimidation. So it's not that odd when someone says they have a relatively peaceful existence people will take issue.
Amnesty in 2021 "Laws, policies and practices which are intended to maintain a cruel system of control over Palestinians, have left them fragmented geographically and politically, frequently impoverished, and in a constant state of fear and insecurity."
Now I'm more than happy to have the opposite explained to me. As to who is offended by that statement.
“There is an apartheid state here,” Tamir Pardo said in an interview. “In a territory where two people are judged under two legal systems, that is an apartheid state.”
Thank you. I think we may understand eachother slightly better even if we don't share the same views.
So what's the point of the weeks long invasion of Gaza, if they believe Hamas will take years to root out?
How is the situation elsewhere in Europe, because in Berlin, or at least parts of it, the picture on the streets seems to be getting a bit grim:
Pro Palestine protests are getting harder to distinguish from riots:
And there's a Spiegel interview (translated into English) with the integration commissioner of the district where the video above was taken that contains some pretty shocking quotes:
"Unfortunately, wide swaths of the Arab-speaking population in Neukölln harbor sympathies for the terrorists."
"I would not advise anybody to make their Jewish faith visible in Neukölln. Those who wear the kippa already faced the prospect of being spat on or insulted in quieter times."

An absolutey moronic question, but hardly a sackable offence.
